*****edited list after comments******
so here's a list I've thrown together. In the past I've found that nob bikers with a painboy, led by a warboss is an almost unstoppable force. The only problem is that I usually run out of turns before they can kill everything/ capture points - so I thought "why not throw in 30 nasty kommandos
to deepstrike behind the twits and tenderise them from behind as their attention is drawn to the bikers. All the while, the 30 ard boys come rushing in and flatten out the survivors.
+ Power Klaw.
+ Cybork Body
+ Power Klaw
+ Boss Snikrot
+ 8 Bikes
+ 6 Power Klaws
+ 8 cybork bodies
+ Waaagh! Banner
+ 'eavy armour
+ Power Klaw
Army Total: 1500

I don't think you need the 'eavy armor when you are bike mounted. They already receive the 4+ armor and a 4+ cover. Could regain 40 points there.
And I would suggest you take a bosspole in your Nob squad. Give it to the Painboy because you'll likely be allowing him to die last(ish).

Thankyou the doubling up on armour slipped my mind.
I got rid of them and the painboys grot orderly = 50pts
used them to buy an extra nob + bike + cybork body.
As for the nobz lack of bosspole - I run the warboss in their unit, and use his bosspole.
Shouldn't this be under ork army lists?

Duh, of course you would put the warboss with a bike with the bikers! The only things I would suggest is to 'Play As' test this army. It is lacking Heavy Support. Maybe compare the Warboss with Gutzmek. He gets I think A4 AP2 dakka cannon... I think. That might help with the AP before your 6 PKs jump into assault, or prevent them from having to assault altogether.
I am also thinking of running Gutz just for that reason.

Spambot kill tally. . .337
First things first, delete individual points costs.
Second, you have a serious lack of objective grabbers. It would be nice to split up that footslogging group of 30 into 2 groups of 12 with Trukks w/ Rams. This gives you more mobility to help get the boyz where they need to be.
Third, I would drop the non-Snikrot Kommandos unit. You could then upgrade your other Kommandos with Burnas to give them the power-weapony goodness against MEQs or the anti-horde for IG, Orks, Nids, etc. Maybe then invest in some Rokkit Buggies. Also a unit of 14 - 19 grotz + runtherd for holding your home objective would be nice.
Fourth, 6 Power Klaws is too much for the Nobz unit. I would drop it to 3, then add in some kombi-skorchas and maybe a big choppa.
Fantasy: Daemons (Angels), 40k: Black Templars
I have to agree with spaar regarding you might want to mix up the army a bit for many reasons, but if you are strictly going for a bikers & kommandos only army then you will experience some armies / scenarios that you will have difficulty winning. But hey, start with it and see how / what you need to modify once you know what your lacking.
I'd have to agree that you'll find that while a Nob biker mob will ride through many units, they are not invincible. I would go with, at most, half your unit with PKs. Otherwise you'll be selecting PK nobs to kill off by round two-three. I too want to add some kombi-skorchas to a few nobs of mine. I think those points are even better spent than on Big Choppas. The skorchas, as spaar mentioned, will also make the nobs much more versatile, so you won't have to spend a turn getting them to the unit they can be useful.
That's how I see it, and I have played a few games with Nob bikers.
Pretty cool list, I'm starting a ork army soon and I might make something like this, but with 1 squad of Kommandos, a SAG Mek, grot fodder, and Kans.
Yeah I play Nurgle?
Hmm....I love Nob Bikers.
I suggest dropping the non-Snikrot kommandos, lose the 'eavy armor on the 30 boyz, and remove 3 PK's from the Nobz. This still leaves 3 PK Nobz....with the Warboss and the Waaagh banner, you still have 21 PK attacks on the charge.....17 on continuing rounds.
With these points(385) I would buy:
2 x troops:
112 - 12 Boyz, 1 nob upgrade w/PK, BP
40 - Dedicated transport Trukk w/RR
That's 304 points. The remaining 81?
Add a BC, a shoota-rokkit, and 2 shoota-scorcha's to the Nobz. Your Nob unit should now look like this:
PK + Waaagh banner
PK + shoota-skorcha
regular biker nob
With all 8 having different equipment, you can now allocate a wound to each separately and with some luck, take 8 wounds before having to lose a model!
61 points left you say? I considered another nob biker. I say add an Attack Squig to your Warboss (7 attacks on the charge with the Nob Waaagh banner) and throw in a unit of 12 gretchin with a runtherd.
Now you have 5 troops choices.
2 Fast deploying strike units or objective holders
A large foot slogging unit
An objective holder, or cannon fodder to run in front of your 30 boyz.
Or don't do the attack squig and grots. Add the attack biker with a BC and shoota-skorcha so he still has a different equipment setup, and add a BP to the PK/Waaagh banner nob so your Warboss can separate and attack a different unit if he needs to and your nobz still have a BP!
So many options.....do what's best for you, and make sure it's fun, cause if the Ork players aren't having fun, I don't have the slightest clue who will!
