I played with an Imperial Guard army back during the 4th Edition, but had to stop playing 40K for awhile until just recently. With the 5th Edition out I've decided to branch out and try a new army: the Tau Empire. I bought the 4th Edition Tau Codex and put together the following army list which I would appreciate some constructive feedback on. So far I've only bought between a third and half of these models, so I still have plenty of room to rework things if necessary. I'll be playing in mostly casual friendly games with maybe some small tournaments thrown in, so this army list is more designed to look good on the table and tobe fun playing with rather than trying to max out every possible thing. I'm trying to avoid using any Kroot, Vespids, or Piranha as well.
I'm basically looking for two things: 1) Is everything on this list legal? and 2) Are there any glaring weaknesses or problems that I need to fix? i.e. "You will lose in the first turn to army X because you wouldn't be able to kill any of their Y units" or "X wargear is worthless"

So all that adds up to 1849 pts. I figure I'd use my Shas'el Command Suit and Bodyguard Team and XV8 Crisis Battlesuit Team #2 along with my Fire Warriors as infantry/heavy infantry killers. With two Pathfinder teams and their markerlights, I think I should be able to hammer any enemy vehicle with my Hammerheads' rainguns and Devilfishs' seeker missiles. Once the Devilfish unload the Pathfinders they can go grab the Fire Warrior teams. XV8 Crisis Battlesuit Team #1 is my suicide team; if anything gets too close or becomes problematic they can jump in close hammer it with either a flamer or fusion blaster and then either jump back out or self destruct. I plan on keeping the two Gue'vesa Teams in cover behind each of the Hammerheads; I can use them to either grab objectives or as cannon fodder. I realize that Gue'vesa aren't in the codex, but I really like the idea of IG deserters fighting as part of a Tau force and I plan on bringing enough extra Fire Warriors with me so that if my opponent has a problem with them I can simply take them out in exchange for bringing the third Fire Warrior team up to full strength.

I've probably made some very n00b mistakes, and so like I said, any constructive feedback would be appreciated.
