O.K. I wanted to try out a list with no MC's. I really like my big bugs so this is very new to me. Let me know what you think.
H.Q.: 2 Tyranid Prime w/ pair of boneswords = 180 pts.
Troops: 20 Termagants
20 Hormagaunts w/ toxin, ad. glands = 200 pts.
2x10 Genestealers w/ toxin = 340 pts.
2x4 Warriors w/ lashwhip & bonesword, toxin = 400 pts.
Elite: 3 Zoanthropes
3 Hive Guard
1 Doom of Malan'Tai w/ spore = 130 pts.
Fast Attack: 18 Gargoyles
2x3 Raveners w/ rending claws = 210 pts.
Totals: 1998 pts., 102 models
1 Prime will go with the Zoan's to suck up any lascannon/krak shots the other either with a group of warriors or Raveners for the same purpose. I have lots of rending and boneswords for power armor and plenty of bodies for swarm. My only question is the anti-tank. Will the 3 Elites be enough? I could also use some renders like stealers or Raveners in a pinch as well. So, any and all comments welcome, as I said, this is very different from my usual lists so I am sure I did not think of everything. Thanks.
Not reliable against a mech army. Zoans and hive guards are good. A decent general will take out those out as well as the genestealers and raveners and then you're have major problems trying to take out his vehicles. Otherwise, it's pretty good against a footslogging army.

I did some number crunchin an dice rollin an I found that very rarely will you come across a unit with more than 1 wound per, more notably Nobz and special characters. Most of the units you come across will have only 1 wound per model. So i have opted to get the lashwhip/bonesword on my Primes an Warriors. Its worked for me so far. Now I dont like Gaunts, so I have a slightly biased opinion of them but other than that it looks good.
Best bit of advice i can give is to swap Doom o' Malanthi for 2/3 thropes in a pod. The other zoanthropes definatly need a pod too. This will help with anti tank quite a bit, and doom really dosnt fit this list anyway.
Get those adrenal glands or toxin sacs off the guants and the toxin sacs of the stealers. Then combine the raveners into 1 large unit, because 2 squads of 3 is too easy to kill.
And if you intend to run your warriors like that they need a spore pod each and adrenal glands not toxins, in order to penetrate rear armour 10.
