    1750 allcomers

    HQ (410)
    Swarmlord - 280
    2 Tyrant Guard - 130
    [Lash Whips]

    Elite(375)
    3 Hive Guard - 150
    Venomthrope - 55
    2 Zoanthropes - 120
    [Mycetic Spore w/stinger salvo] - 50

    Troops(705)
    14 Hormagaunts - 84
    10 Termagaunts - 50
    [Tervigon w/ Catalyst] - 175
    7 Genestealers - 195
    [Scything Talons][Toxin Sacs]+[Broodlord w/Scything Talons]
    7 Genestealers - 195
    [Scything Talons][Toxin Sacs]+[Broodlord w/Scything Talons]

    Heavy Support(265)
    Trygon Prime - 265
    [Regen]

    Non MC Models - 48
    MC's - 3
    Total Points - 1749

The Swarmlord and guard charge straight towards enemy, making use of cover.

Right behind is the venomthrope keeping out of mischief, surrounded by the Horm's, giving each other cover saves if scenery cannot.

Genestealers outflank, making use of the swarmlords outflank bonuses. Optimizing the broodlords gaze against any power wep champ's.

Tervigon and spwans following next, casting FNP onto any gene's about to dive into a tricky combat, or most likely the horms.

Zoa''s landing near any armor ready to pop it upon landing, leaving the juicy insides ready to be eaten by the charging swarm.

Finally the Trygon toppling any threat it see's fit.

My oponent is the new BA. I need to take advantage of the high initiative models in my army, aswell as Shadow In The Warp for his psykers and the broodlords gaze.

    Comments greatly welcomed

your grabbing a venomthrope for 50 models?
Genestealers, they dont NEED any upgrades, run them naked and get some more gaunts.
other than that.....I wouldnt reccoment the swarmlord for anything under 2500, perhaps take a flyrant instead.
other than that, it doesnt look too bad.
    Siggy.

To take down the new BAs, I think you need a bit more *umph* than that list provides. Personally, I'd go with:

    HQ - 410
    1x Swarmlord
2x Tyrant Guard w. lash whips

    Elites - 220
    2x hive guard
    2x zoans

    Troops - 510
1x tervigon w. adrenal glands, toxin sacs, onslaught + catalyst
    18x termigants
    18x termigants
    20x hormagaunts

    Heavy Support - 610
    1x Trygon Prime
    2x carnifexes w. H venom cannons

    Total: 1750 pts.

non monstrous creatures: 62 (+ w/e the tervigon spawns)
    monstrous creatures: 5

the plan is to, naturally, advance with your gaunt shields keeping your MCs from getting charged by crazy fast BA units. Onslaught your carnifexes, hive guard or zoans so they can keep up and keep the fexes in front of the tervigon for cover. If your gaunts or MC start suffering to fire, catalyst them instead. Use the fexes to destroy/stun vehicles off in the distance, preferring transports, so as to force their army to engage you piece meal if possible. Again, the gaunt screen is vital to keeping your MCs (excluding tyrant, of course) from getting singled out and ripped apart by uber units. Charge in with them to support your little guys, and focus your big guys on same combats as much as possible to maximise their combat effectiveness. A smart enemy will kill your gaunts in combat, for the most part, to force the No Retreat thing on your big guys, so again, focus your guys that can dependably inflict wounds. Also notice the choices he has to make. He is going to be, presumably assaulty and has to choose between eliminating the CC support of the Tervigon, 8x wounds of fex that can ignore his FnP from shooting, 6 wounds of tervigon, the damn swarm lord + ret. and the swarms of gribblies. He also has to weather the shooting of the zoans, fexes, and hive guard, all of which can focus on tanks, till there are none (or aren't the most immediate threat, ie. tons of screaming BA infantry/dreads) or switch to infantry denying them either FnP or their precious armor saves (in the case of the zoan)....some hard choices, needless to say. Make him sweat, them make him into food!
