Ok, This is what i have so far...
HIVE FLEET MANTICORE
Hive Guard 50
3x Warroirs 105
15x Genestealers 210
10x Deathguants (in Reserve) 100
Codename "Fossil" (Counts as Old one eye) 260
Ok, so thats what i got so far. I want to push it to 2,000pts. Local Enemies are IGs, Tau, the cursed Space marines. Primary Enemy is A firce 3,000pt Choas Warband, complete with Winged deamon Prince, Defilier, a badass sorccer with a raptor entourge, Plague marines, and bezerkers.
One tactic i plan to use is have a crack team of genestealers and lictor that hang back and wait for trygon with the deathgaunts that emerge from it's hole. then they bum rush the enemy flank togather. A second lictor and maybe Marloc would help strengthen this side assault.
From the front line, maybe a box of Hormaguants or two. I think a Zoanthrope would help with power armor and enemy tanks.
What are your thoughts?
First up, forget it about the trygon hole, the chances of you actualy pulling off the correct combination of roles is to be honest minimal and the consequences for faiing that roll are very high, because you are then forced to deploy on your own table edge. The chances of the trygon appearing first, then the genestealers appearing next turn are 16.5% (assuming my maths is right), so about 1/6th of the time your genestealers are going to be forced to deploy from their own edge, on turn 3. This is, simply a waste.
Next that tyrant and it is incredibly badly set up. Armoured shell is not good considering the amount of melta, lascannon and other AP2 fire in 40k, he wont get to use that 40 point upgrade. Stick a pair of wings on, and specialise him into either shooty or assault mode and he will run a lot better. If wings dont take your fancy, he needs tyrant guard for an easy cover save, and a few more wounds.
Your tervigon and guants are 2 separate units, dont forget that. And they shouldnt be included in the HQ slot either, a unit of guants as a troops choice makes a tervigon a troop choice, in a separate slot of the FOC. He really dosnt need regen or tallons to be honest, toxins are good though.
Why do you have 1 hive guard? Thats just screaming "free kill point!" to an opponent. That and he lacks the fire to actually do any sort of heavy dmage without a bit of luck somewhere along the line. Either add another 2, or drop him.
I also dont see why you have a lone lictor, its not really for the no scatter bonus, as you have little deep striking elements that could actually use it. If you want a lictor, take deathleaper.
The warriors need numbers, 3 wont last long at all. And why are your deathguants in reserve? If its for the hole, forget it, buy them a pod instead. And a few more bodies.
15 genestealers is a bit too many, what do you intend to do with them? They dont want to footslog thats for sure, either infiltrate or outflank. Get a broodlord and drop 5-7 stealers.
Hormaguants need sacs or glands, and i recon sacs are better.
Old one eye should really go, hes not worth it. Use the points and buy a trygon prime.
The other trygon dosnt need those upgrades either, with toxin sacs actually REDUCING your chance to wound against most opponents. I dont rate regen either, save yourself the points, either get upgrades on other things, or make him a prime too.
As far as adding things is concerned, the first piroritory looking at those lists is zoanthropes, 3 in a pod to be precise. Then buy yourself another 20ish hormaguants with sacs, and use the rest to upgrade what youve got, such as the tyrant, numbers for the hive guard and warriors, and lictor to deathleaper.
My recogmendation for the tyrant in particular is; winged with paroxism and leech essence, acid blood and if you can afford it, toxic miasma. Then either take 2 TL devourers, or a combat set up. (i prefer 2 tallons for the re-rolls, others like the Initiative reduction of the lash whip and bone sword) Some chose to have it with a HVC, but i personally think that wastes his potential, and can be better placed elsewhere.
Hope thats helpful

The list i gave are already built and painted. so i can't really re-kit he army. also i dont have too much money to spend on this army, so i gotta be effiencet.
Whats so great about a winged tyrant? I dont want tp spend all the pts so it can fly ahead of the swarm to get shot up. If im missing something let me know, cuz i got wings for him. If not Tyant gaurd sound
How many termaguant models should i have for my tervigon?
I'll increase the lictor and hive guard broods
I want to add Sprore pods but how to i built these damn things?
Re-read the rules on poisoned weapons, for the trygon, most infrantry it attacks, it can re-roll to wound. it's a beutiful thing, man.
Old one eye, is going to have to stay. I had the perfect set up for it's conversion, and i didnt want a carnifex
Well thats a bit of a shame about what youve got but we can move on from that.
Your guants are fine with the tervigon, i dont thnik i had probelsm with them. The guants i did tell you to increase were the death guants.
Spore pods are simple enough, im in the process of doing mine witha few coke cans, and really anything will do so long as it looks right.
Actually despite the re-roll for poisoned weapons, you are still less likley to wound standard MEQ targets with the sacs. A bit of maths for you.
Chance to wound per hit with no sacs Versus meq = 82.5% (ie 2+ to wound)
Chance to wound per hit with sacs versus meq = 75% (50% chance to wound, then another 50% on the re-roll)
Therefore by giving your trygon sacs, you actually make it 7.5% less lilkey to kill a meq target. Only take them if you face A LOT of wraithlords or Ctan, otherwise your fine without.
Old one eye is a huge point sinc that really dosnt contribute anything a trygon wouldnt do a lot better to this force but if you insit on having it then there not a lot i can do about that.

Fluff wise, i Freaking love CC fexs. Since the model in question is from the 3rd gen carnifex, i could just call it normal carnifex. would that be better? Reminder, What he lacks in big guns he makes up with Bezerkers, Daeomon princes, Lords with deamon weapons and other CC monsters. An old eye would be able to clobber the deamon prince with time to turn a few zerkers into tooth picks.
All of my troops choices, the carinfex and the 3rd gen tyrant i got for free, i had to make due with what i got. No shame in that
Will increase all elite choices and deathguants numbers.
Caint wait to see your converion mn mycetic spores. very intrested
Wait what about the tyrant? cuz if im not putting wings im going to re-try making the harpy.
1. higher initiative.
3 an invulnearble save,
4 gift of chaos
and if its slaneeshi, lash of submission.
What im trying to say is to have support, old one eye is good, but needs help occasionally. Regarding bezerkers, you might also find if you get charged you suffer some sirious pain. However to counter this, either charge them, or have a tervigon with catalyt to help him out.
Ergo the spores, ill give you a shout when you get mine done, but potato legs has an awsome spore pod on display at the moment, maybe you could get inspiration from him?
If you got the tyrant as is and dont want to spend more money, dont worry its still good as a tyrant, its just not a optional armament. If you somehow find some money you can spend, then maybe find a way to re-arm him, but if you dont want to dont worry.
On that note, dont bother making him a flyrant, as IMHO hes set up too inifeicently for such a fragile model. However if you want to have a go at the harpy, then do it, its an awsome unit and well worth converting.

I agree man, thanks so muchhhhhhh!!!!
I like the tyrant as he's not too expenisive point wise. I'll drop Armored shell (Dont have to worry about small arms fire, when he gets in range of the bolters, he'll be one of many, many , many targets >=)
I'm going to buy a Carnifex box, Convert it into a harpy with TL Heavy venom cannon. And with those spare parts im going to make the myctic spore. which leads me to....
So i was actually looking a "tater legs"'s Spore and i gotta say, it's a wonderful conversion. I was a store today when i saw the 40k moonscape crater scenery kit. I'm going to use the crater kit as a base to make a spore thats mostly underground. I'll use the sycthing talons as a frame for the spore then use green stuff the webbing inbetween. will have pic up in due time.
As for the deamon prince....lol...well i have no attention fighting fair. I Got numbers on Him. I'm going to have the DP peppered with incoming fire before "Fossil" tears him a new one. and say the DP manages to survive, theres still 3 (and soon to be 4) monsterous creatures that can finish him with ease.
The deamon prince is a Winged Night Lord Prince that follows the choas god Tzeentch. My necrons have faced him down before, and he makes full use of CC altering spells. But he still goes down none the less, just ask my little necron lord....(look over at him on shelf. hes smilling. telling the other necrons about how he beat him)
