Welcome to Librarium Online!
running a few games among friends, i live in a remote area where the only arimies i will face are space marines, CSM, and tyranid, and more tyranid than anything else, but i try not to tailor my list.
Farseer w/ Rune of witnessing, spirit stones, w/doom and fortune
riding with the banshees
Howling Banshees 9
w/exarch w/ Executioner and acrobatic
in a Wave serpent w/ TL Shuriken Cannons and spirit stones
9 Guardian jetbikes
w/3 shuriken cannons
and warlock on jetbike with destructor
10 dire avengers w/ exarch
dual avenger cats and bladestorm
in Wave Serpent with TL Scatter Laser and spirit stones
I am a little concerned with my ability to deal with armor, and am considering replacing my jetbikes with another squad of dire avengers in a wave serpent with TL bright lance, but against tyranid all the str 6 shots do well against monstrous creatures
I would suggest replacing your waveserpents' shuriken cannons with Eldar Missile Launchers. This will give you a bit more hitting power that can deal with most vehicles you run into at 1k, while retaining ability against MCs and infantry as well. I think the jetbikes will do fine at MC hunting if you decide to apply them to that roll. With Doom your banshees may even be able to take down a carnifex or the like as well. Against vehicles attempt to get your jetbikes behind a target, that many S6 shots to side/rear armor could really screw up tanks, or even front armor on rhinos.
Replace the Shuriken Cannons with EMLs or Brightlances/Scatter Lasers, and take out the Jetbikes in favour of another identical squad of Avengers in a WS. I'd personally say you want a few less Banshees as well in a 1000pt list, maybe 6, and take the RoW off the Farseer. Then you want 1 Wave Serpent with Scatter Lasers, 1 with Brightlances and a third also with 'Lances. I reckon you want a Prism in there as well... if you can find the points.
