Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hey everyone, I'm new to this site but have been playing Necrons for a couple of years now. I know I'll be going up against 3 IG players, 1 eldar player, 3 nid players and 5 various SM players.
So here's my list:
x3 ten strong warrior sqds (180 each)
x1 fifteen strng wrr sqd (270)
Lord w res orb & VoD (200)
Lord w warsythe, res orb, Destroyer body, & lightening field (195)
x1 ten strng Scarab swarm w Dfields (180)
x2 five strng Destroyer sqds
x2 three strng heavy destroyers
Most of it looks good. I'm not sure about the 15 man warrior squad, might as well make it 10 for efficiency and to minimise losses in the event of being swept. Probably wouldn't spend as much on the lord's wargear. A simple ResOrb lord to run with the warriors and the D-lord... that's fine with the scarabs, obviously your hard hitter in the list. Unless you intend to use flying circus, then I'd keep it the same. You've doubled up on destroyers so that's fine.
Interesting to see a significant number of heavy destroyers being used but that's a personal preference of mine. (Don't really like the pts investment )
Have you played with this list a lot?
Necrons W68-D13-L10 (3rd edition codex)
Necrons W3-D1-L1 (latest codex)
Skaven still being assembled
10 scarabs w/ d.fields = 160 pts, not 180.
How many points is the tournament for?
'Ardboyz is 2500pts.
I think you've run up what is overall a solid list. One major problem is that you only have one monolith. In this points level and this stage of competativeness one monolith will get dropped in no time at all, I would highly suggest taking two so as to ensure the survival of at least one of them past the turn they arrive on field (Deepstruck or not).
VoD is a great tool, just be careful to not distance your res orb too far from the units that need it.
At this points level I would find 2 monoliths and a Ctan (particularly Deceiver) useful. I'm not a big fan of heavily tooled lords. a 200 point lord truely doesn't match up to other armies 200 pt IC's, but our 300pt Deceiver is insane...and that extra points far worth it. Also it gives a real threat to someone just purely charging you in the face. Right now there's nothing to deter some chaos marines moving 12" and popping smoke in your face just to assault you next turn. Having the Deceiver will destroyer terminators, etc rather well.
In fact if you want to know how I would stack my BASE list.
3 Heavy D's
Whatever points are leftover, work around that. Possibly remove one monolith in favor for heavy D's. I'm torn on 6 heavy D's or 3 HD's+2 Liths.

thanks for the feed back!
the idea was to use the Dlord's lightening field in conjuntion with the scarabs 30 wounds to pwn the bane of my army...CC units. Alternatively, the scarabs just turbo boost towards tanks and eat them.
The lith is to buy time more than anything else, if it gets blown to bits thats only a 25th of my points and none of my phase out.
Also should i reduce the 15 man warrior squad to ten and pick up 5 flayed ones? Would they even survive?
(I don't own a C'tan)
ACK! I forgot!

5 flayed ones are not hard hitting, or survivable enough, to be really worth considering at this points level. If you focused your list around them I may say to take some, but not in 'Ard Boyz.
Dropping a unit of heavy destroyers, those extra 5 warriors, and maybe a scarab or two, and getting a Monolith is something you should seriously look into. (I'll let you do the math there, I'm feeling lazy.)
