Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hi. I'm a very very new 40k player, decided on Eldar after a less-than-successful trial run with the "Black Reach" starter kit thing. Consistent opponent armies are Imperial Guard and Orks. This is kind of an "all-around" army, as far as I can tell.
(Updated to reflect motomeru's suggestions)
HQ: Farseer @ 130
Runes of Witnessing
HQ(bonus): Warlocks (4) @ 212
Eldar Jetbikes (4)
Singing Spears (4)
Troops: Dire Avengers (20, two squads of 10) @ 334
Exarch upgrade (2)
Dual Shuriken Catapult (2)
Troops: Pathfinders (5) @ 120
Troops: Guardians (10) @ 134
Spiritseer w/ Conceal, Singing Spear
Transport: Wave Serpents (2) @ 310
Shuriken Cannon (2)
Twin-linked Scatter Laser (2)
Vectored Engines (2)
Spirit Stones (2)
Heavy Support: Wraithlord @ 110
Shuriken Cannon (1)
Heavy Support: Fire Prism @ 150
A couple of notes here. First, I have yet to see my IG opponent play a psyker (do they even HAVE them?), thus the lack of Runes of Warding on the Farseer. Wave Serpents are for transporting the Dire Avengers, one of which will have Farseer accompaniment for Guide+Doom+Bladestorm messiness. The Guardians and Wraithlord are footbound (and in relatively close proximity, for spiritseer aura). The warlocks are for mobile armor-killing with the S9 Singing Spears, and the Fire Prism is just sitting in the background laying waste to whatever it can.

your warlocks and your farseer a s9 against vehicles but dont send them too far without support maybe drop the war walkers for a wraithlord with a brightlance
Hmm. Wraithlord with twin-linked Bright Lance would be 170 points... a very solid option, but gives me less EML to play with, and I like having the scout ability on the War Walkers.
at 3 points each for the upgrade its a bargain and the twin link right lance is a waste try eml and bright lance combo its a bit cheaper is your farseer on jet bike too?
war walkers are better in smaller games like combat patrol with two shurcats with only 30 armor the will be gone too quickly for the points you pay

I'd... somehow not realized that the singing spear upgrades were that cheap. Will probably do that, assuming I can create the models in any reasonable length of time. *grumbles about have to custom-create warlocks on jetbikes*
My Farseer is NOT on a jetbike. I wanted him on foot to make Guide+Doom+Bladestorm combos with one of the Dire Avenger squads, and also to allow a smidge more positioning flexibility with my Wraithlord.
Okay, so war walkers are out. Heck, with 160 points to play I could get a Fire Prism. Are the upgrades worth it for a Fire Prism, or should I spend those points somewhere else (maybe on another model in the jetbike squad)?
