So, basically, coming into Eldar, I decided to walk away from focusing purely on a game-winning list and more so on the looks of an army.
Let me first explain the social context of this list; where I frequently play - there aren't any powergamers and its mostly for 'funzies' as you might say. I developed this list mainly out of the models I liked and just things that appealed to me.
I would like to see what you guys recommend. I know there will be one or two individuals who will cry 'OMG YOU NuBCAKES! WTF ARE YOU BRING HARLEQUINS AND SWOOPING HAWKS FOR?! OMG! FORGET IT!'
But please keep in mind, that while I like to go into a game believing I have a chance or victory... that isn't what its all about.
Please state what the army will excel at/ struggle with. This goes out mainly to the seasoned eldar vets - because I have no doubt you will be able to tell me what I'll struggle with.

Hmm, well, I'd say at 2250 you'll be running into a *lot* of AV14. You only really have a single bright lance, fire dragons, and I don't personally believe prisms will cut it, but EMLs are solid choices on the Serpents though I almost wonder if it might be better to just scrape points and give them bright lances in this instance.
You could run the list as-is, but I'd really like to see about getting those serpents some lances.
Yeah I understand where your coming from. I gave my serpents the EML rather than lances only because, in my opinion, its much more tactically flexible.
I plan on using my lil jetbike squads to get around and hide in inconvenient places where I can 'jack-in-the-box' shoot the backs of vehicles with the shuriken cannon. I know s6 is rather unconvincing, but I hope with 6 shots, I can get a few hits. At least they have something useful to do until they go running off to cap objectives.
Should also be noted that the Wraithlord is kitted out to hang back with the storm guardian squad w/ warlock to cap any home objectives. Hopefully I should be able to knock a few things about before getting crumbled ><
Also, I feel your pain re: the fire prisms. Sometimes they work amazingly... and its just an armageddon. Other times... ugh! If this were a tourney list I might for a lil more anti tank, or expanding the fire dragons - but its just for 'funzies' as they say, so it will be interesting I think...
Personally I just look forward to running up against the resident ork player! I can't wait to see what the sunrifle can do - as well as a cunning assault with the harlequins!
All is good in the world of Warhammer then.
I love the sunrifle, fun gun to use, and fun to hear your opponent say "HOW many shots is he getting?"
This list is actually rather nice. I know you want to run the hawks, but they are currently the only real weakness I see, mainly just because of their low squad size. I feel they would do better with more numbers and more shots, which they can't get with this list set up. I would drop them and add some bulk to your jetbike squads because three and fold pretty easily. Other than that, cheers.
