Welcome to Librarium Online!
been playing against an eldar list and having some problems. the only units that work reliably for me have been genestealers and hive tyrants and the trygon(or mawloc).
so at 1500 i am planning on running
2 hive tyrants with wings, lash whips and scything talons
8 ymgarl genestealers
3 squads of 10 genestealers w/ brood lord
i will be facing an eldar list and a CSM list as primary opponents though a space marine is not out of the question. i have tried zoans in and out of pods, and have not been happy with hive guard either
Tyrants look good, very fast and fighty, if expensive. Maybe drop one to get more things you need, one should be enough most games.
Ymgarls are okay, they combo well with Outflankers by forcing units to the side.
You can get away with 8 Genestealers, Broodlord included. After a certain point it's just more attacks than you need.
Trygon should be a Prime if you can, the ability to come up behind transports and unload 12 S5 shots will ruin any transports day.
Mawloc is good.
Your problem is you have zero shooting. Hive Guard are amazing versus the armies you'll be playing, as are Zoans in Pods. Just place them behind a vehicle and they usually auto penetrate. I'd drop the Ymgarls and a few Stealers for some Hiveguard/Zoans.
Instead of stealer heavy, you could always try an all deep strike army,
throw hive commander on each of those tyrants, and maybe go with 2x scything talons for rerolls since he'll be going first in CC most of the time,
replace all those genestealers with a more balanced list, the ymgarls will be Plenty of anti infantry killy,
maybe trade out the stealers for
3 zoanthrops, and 3-4 bonesword warriors in pod's?, Like prince said if you can get your zoey's to the sides of armor, if they hit there guranteed to auto pen most vehicles, warriors for your opponents multi wound units,
just some thoughts, hope it helps and good luck!
EDIT: Zomg prince you posted as I was working on mine

Ran up a list using your advice, will play a game today against some eldar.
2 hive tyrants with wings and hive commander, left one with lash whip and bone sword and scything talons and gave other 2x scything talons
2 zoans in mycetic spore (deep striking)
6 ymrgal Genestealers (dormant)
9 genestealers one of which is upgraded to broodlord (infiltration)
9 genestealers one of which is upgraded to broodlord (outflanking)
7 warriors, one venom cannon and 6 deathspitters and 7 rending claws (outflanking)
house rules allow hive commander to stack, and the mawloc burrowing and hive tyrant wings should make him think about where he moves, the outflanking should pull him toward the center of the board where the hive tyrants can chase easier. thought about a trygon, like the shooting, but the mobility of the mawloc won in the end, may drop a warrior and put the trygon back in if the mawloc does not work out right. i will actually be playing the eldar against this list, but am hoping it can win

Outflank both units of genesteaers, if you infiltrate a single unit of genestealers they will be shot to shreds. You can outflank infiltrators for free. How about you drop a warrior and a pair of genestealers from each unit for a small unit of Ygmarls?
i think we were possibly considering using the one infiltration unit to draw fire from the hive tyrants that we feel are rather exposed, we have been running a unit of shikes as cover but decided to try 2 HT this time.
have dropped 2 stealers per unit and one warrior to make 6 ymrgal, game got pushed back to when ever we get a chance to play it as we got distracted by a woman that was willing to cook for us
I see, how about you deepstrike the Tyrants and have absolutely nothing on the board?
Played our game tonight.
our board had a lot of cover, mainly woods covered nearly the entire left side, with a few scrubs in the right hand corner and hills in the middle of long edge on both sides, leaving the only clear area on right side of the board, he deployed his HT on his left with the woods protecting him from my list with the mawloc.
1 guide seer deployed with war walkers
1 doom seer in serpent with banshees
8 banshees in serpent with exarch, with executioner, and acrobatic, in wave serpent with shuriken cannon
10 dire avengers with exarch with dual cats in wave serpent with star cannons
9 guardian jetbikes with 3 shuriken cannons
11 storm guardians with 2 flamers and a destructor warlock in wave serpent with shuriken cannons
3 warwalkers with 6 star cannons
the warriors came in on the wrong side of the board which makes us consider a drop pod for them, the zoans came in but only managed to kill one transport before getting whacked by masses dire avenger and storm guardian fire, the mawloc took out half the bikes, the ymrgals took out the other. then the mawloc was mowed down by star cannon fire, the yrmgals charged the war walkers but after some shooing losses only managed to destroy one weapon and then took 2 wounds and failed 2 no retreat armor saves, one squad of genestealers outflanked into the dire avengers and routed them, but was annihilated by storm guardians. and the hive tyrants got destroyed by starcannons, in the end the howling banshees ended up getting charged by the warriors who took 4 banshees and only lost 3 wounds themselves. the infiltrated stealers managed to finish off the war walkers after i gave target priority to hive tyrants
our thoughts are that we need bigger stealer squads and have to find a way to get the zoans into play without being right in the middle of all my guns, we will drop one flyrant, add a prime to warriors and maybe try a pod, thinking about changing the zoans into 3 hive guard that walk in. stealers can win in CC but i need about 3-5 models left and with squads of 8 only the broodlord is making it thru the shuriken fire, so we will bump up to 11 stealers + broodlord, increase the ymrgal to 10, see how that works, next game maybe against Chaos space marines
Zoanthropes are suicidal, I've never seen a unit survive a game. They come down, wreck a tank and die. Run Hive Guard is you want something to live but heavy armor will be a bigger problem.
