    1750 final tourny list.

    since i for some reason couldnt post in my current thread I decided to make a new one since I need help. Got a tournament coming up on saturday(!)

    heres my list, my deffkoptas will be "decoys" and rush forward. my bw with nobs and warboss will go for the closest tank and totaly destroy it. my kans boyz and big mek will walk and grab objectivs and such

    You have a bit of an odd list here. I personally do not believe in half mech armies, it would be very easy to destroy your Battlewagon because nothing else is coming fast and now your army is fragmented. However, I will work with what you have.

    The Warboss can lose some upgrades if/when you need points.

    Are the Nobz all unique? If not, make them so with cheap upgrades. Also, you need 2 more Klaws in that unit, although I'd drop 2 Nobz and add 1-2 more Klaws, way to many points there at the moment. You also need Cyborks everywhere.

    The Battlewagon should lose the Kannon and the RPJ.

    Choppa Boyz on foot....not good. Shoota Boyz are the wise foot slogging choice, especially with no Grots to hang back on an objective. Maybe you can proxy them, or convert in a hurry?

    Kopters are fine, although Buggies would give some Rokkits on a stable platform thanks to the KFF.

    Don't mix guns in Kan units. I'd go all Gotzookas in one and all Rokkits in the other, or just all Rokkits. You have a huge anti-tank problem.

    hmmm... there is one thing I realy dont understand, why should I drop the kannon on the BW? its cheap and it can be used as a defensive weapon. and I also dont understand why I should drop the RPJ. please explain.

    the tournament im going to is a small one with no WYSIWYG rule so I can go with the boys as they are. and with the boys should I then walk and shoot or should I run?

    My opinion on RPJ is 1" doesn't matter. It doesn't get you there sooner, I can see very few situations where you say "I lost because of 1"." It has never happened to me personally. Kannons, well Wagons aren't for shooting. They're made to go 12" every single turn, Ramming and Tank Shocking as much as they can. You want one cheap gun so you don't get Immobilized, but that's it.

    Grotzookas and Big Shootas do the same job but Grotzookas do it MUCH better. For 5 more points, why not take the better gun? S6 can take down tanks and 6 templates makes a mockery of light infantry, even wounding MEQs on a 2+. They have a shorter range, but non-Rokkit Kans run early anyways.

    With Foot Boyz you would probably run Turn 1, unless a great target is very close, which is unlikely. Just take the decision as you go.

    i would split your choppa boyz up and go with trukks and Nob PKBP accordingly. also drop 1 Big choppas and 1 PK off the nobs and go with kombi-skorochas for flavor.

    the list went very good, got 17-3 VP in the first game, 20-0 in the 2nd but the third game my focus and running ability disapeared. only 1 and 2 on running ftl. so the third game went 5-15, that makes a total of 33-18 which I am fine with
