New to this so could do with some advice!
I am looking to put together a 1000 point army and just looking at the basics, with 20 boyz i am looking to have a nob with power claw but have seen almost everyone adding a boss poll is this really worth doing? as in my experience so far most instances I have been taking moral tests requiring a roll of less than 4 so not really worth doing so are the points better off spent else where ? ?

Wash: This landing is gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: [deadpan] Oh God, oh God, we're all going to die?
A Bosspole allows you to reroll a leadership roll that you failed by taking one wound. Standard ork leadership is 7, so you should be rolling 7 or less for your LD (unless you lost combat by a horrific amount).s in my experience so far most instances I have been taking moral tests requiring a roll of less than 4 so not really worth doing so are the points better off spent else where ? ?
The point of the BP is to keep the boyz stuck in, giving the Nob another round of PK swinging. It also ties up the unit, preventing it from shooting at you. If you fail the LD, you'll be forced to run, and they'll have a chance at a sweeping advance, completely wiping you out....or they'll just obliterate you with firepower the next round.
The BP is like getting a second save....
