The aim is to be moble and levy a large number of shots focus firing on a enemy squad and assuring no chance of retaliation from it. But will it work...
Will it work? It might but the problem lies in the fact of your enemies armour. Space Marines will lose a few men from the sheer number of shots but about half would survive due to their armour. Against low armoured enemies they will incurr heavy losses but if its a 30 stronge unit of nids then there will be some left alive to attack you.
I can see your using your war walkers as your anti tank but as I was told (and have tried and found it to be true) EMLs don't really work with Warwalkers due to their poor BS. Unless your using the plasma attack mode rather than the krak this combo will fail when you need it the most. Warwalkers should be equipped with multiple shot weapons to make them useful. Bright lances are also a no no.
Spiders are...well I don't use them much because of their lack of AP making them rubbish for tank popping and rubbish if what their shooting at has a good armour save. They are good at wounding things but not much else. Too expensive for what they are I think. If their weapons had a rending ability I would say they would be worth it but their not.
I would personally swap out your Warwalkers and Spiders for a pair of Wraithlords. They would serve as your heavy weapon bases and would take most of if not all of your enemies anti-tank weaponry saving your tanks a lot of hassle. You could also if you really wanted to keep either of these units swap out your jetbikes for one of the wraithlords instead but that would leave you with only 2 troops choices which would leave you at a disadvantage in objective games.
You could fit in another decent sized squad of DAs in a Wave Serpent by removing the Star Cannon from your Guardian Squad, (With their rubbish BS skill its really not worth the points.) and use the points to turn your jetbikes into a DA with Wave Serpent.
Then youd have 3 tanks and 2 wraithlords and even more shots for you to use and decent anti tank capabilities thanks to the wraithlords. EMLs work well with Wraithlords so if you equip them with an EML and possibly a Shuriken Cannon/Scatter Laser for some extra Light Tank Popping/infantry killing capabilities.
Your tanks would zoom forward to deploy your units and shower your enemies units in shots while the Wraithlords pop open their transports at a distance and take the brunt of your enemies heavy weapons saving your tanks while slowly moving up the field. If your wraithlord survive then they will kill nearly any enemie unit they encounter in CC with your enemy likely unable to even wound them unless they have a powerfist or a rending weapon.
Thanks for taking the time to critique the list. I should have made it more clear. the Scannons aren't start cannons but shruiken cannons. The thinking is pure number of shots will take out massed nids or orks, and even squads of meq's.
I think you're right about the warwalkers and EMLs... shame though.. i've already built and painted them Some GW guy convinced me to outflank them and krak missle rear tank armors. The enemy player will turn to the warwalkers to protect their rear armor or get shot in the back. I could put a wraithlord in place of them, maybe with a bright lance and star cannon letting him to anti-tank/anti-termi. What do you recommend lords to equip with? what about lord instead of spiders and keep the walkers. they could hit much of the targets the spiders would attempt, still to antitank, and the lord adds even more anti-armor.
There is a way round the War Walkers poor BS but you have to sacrifice the out flank manouver and that is to guide them using a farseer. The other problem with your warwalkers is when you outflank you need to roll for them to come from reserve and that relies a bit on luck and you don't have an autarch to assist with their arrival. I love walkers but they have their problems.
As for the wraithlord an EML would be effective allowing you to target mulitple transports so that your not stuck targeting only what your walkers do however Id doubt your likely to encounter any Landraiders at this point level but anything is possible but I wouldn't take brightlance regardless. You'll just need to see what you can afford points wise and if you want to skim points elsewhere to allow you to take what you want to.
On a side note you could try magnatising your warwalker weapons so that you could interchange them to your needs. Once I finish off a couple of other projects I will be doing that with mine.

Wraithlords for 1k points = EML and Scatter Laser with two flamers imo.
40k: Silver Angels of Our Martyred Lady 7/2/3 - Daemons of the Great Squiggle! 3/1/0
Fantasy: Windhost of Athel'Loren 2/0/0 - Daemons of Another Great Squiggle! 0/0/0
Warmahordes: Legion of Everblight (Absylonia)
yea i don't know why anyone would take shruiken catapults over the flamers with a lord. Changing subjects, can a serpent mounted farseer doom properly? I mean, its 24" range means he may start the turn out of range before the serpent moves. he can doom from inside the tank without LOS to a target right?
Yes, you cast doom before the movement phase and you can cast Doom from inside the tank.
