heres my list
Hive Tyrant w/TL Devourers, AG, Hive Commander, LE, PS
1x Tyrant Guard
2x Hive Guards
2x Hive Guards
2x Zoanthropes w/ Mycetic Spore
1x Trygon Prime
i'll be playing against blood angels, eldar and tau soon. what tactics can i use. the blood angels player will be using quite a few tanks, death company and terminators. edlar will be using a avatar, wraithlord, not sure what else, tau will be using kroot army i think. what tactics can i use?
Hormagaunts need Toxin Sacs and I would prefer to see broods of 20 (your call there). That way they wound wound marines on a decent roll and can chew through wraithlords and the like. Maybe drop the stealers down to a group of 8, they could do with Toxin as well, I think.
You can probably lose AG on the Tyrant.
Ranged Anti-transport is lacking, but that is a general problem with all nid lists.
Don't really know overall what I can advise.

Get Parox for your tyrant much more versitile. Toxin sacs on the Hormagants. You might want to throw some more troops in the list. For the Eldar Watch for Large units of Dire Avengers and scout walkers, as they will chew through your troops. Also, Watch out for jet bikes and specailty units in transports. Tau watch for buffed HQ's If you can it is best to engage them in close combat as their strenghth lies in thier shooty. Hammerheads are also a top priority as they have the secondary fire and the S10 shot. Your hormagants should deal with kroot nicely. Watch for crisis battle suits, some Tau players think it has the secondary fire, it does not. Just the S10. Blood Angles, Death Company Feel no pain is a pain in the a**. Psyker Dreads and other Vehicels. Take out Character units at range or with the hormagaunts.
I play against Tau alot so one thing I will say is, like Undermind said the Hammerhead has a big pie plate that hurts alot so watch for that and the guy I play with takes disruption pods, which gives him a 4+ cover save so I take him out with my HG, I know its AV 13 in the front but I dont care when I roll 4 dice for armor pen I usually get at least one 5 or 6 which screws him over for at least one turn which I like alot. Another thing is I get decimated alot the first turn and I learned to not be discouraged by this because in the turns that come after the first I can usually win it all back or at least tie, especially on objectives. The shoot all day at my MC's not being able to ID them or missing alot so that is also a big help. Another thing that I find that helps alot is shooting the battle suits with your HG mainly because it ID's them when they miss even one save. I once killed three in one turn from 4 shots
