Okay so im considering eldar. I need some help here on what to run. I got a codex borrowed form my friend and I must admit, I LOVE the look of warp spiders. And banshees. So I was thinking running an Autarch (probably spelled that wrong) as a warp spider (Warp jump pack etc) backed up with 5 or so spiders. Having banshees in wave serpents allowing for CC support. Maybe with dire avengers laying into those numerous pesky troops?
With that I got something looking like this:
Autarch: Warp jmup generator with death spinner
5x Warp spiders w/ One exarch using an additional death spinner
8 Howling Banshees 155pts
Exarch with War shout, executioner
10 Dire Avengers
Exarch with bladestorm, dual catapults
This comes to 784 points. For the rest maybe get a wraithlord with dual flamers? Or I do like the look of rangers/pathfinders. Or maybe run some storm guardians with a warlock? Im stumped here guys :/
Hm. Okay ill take that to mind. Thanks.
Hm. My friend sold me an eldar Vyper for $5 that he never used >.> Its still salvagable. And I hear they can be quite good, do you think its worth running just one though? As a fast source to anti tank?
Okay, but today I was mucking around with some painting ideas and a guy said they should be taken for quick anti infantry, because if they zoom around exploding tanks, they fall easily.
Well you can use them for either really, because they're so cheap it doesn't matter if they die a bit. Just don't split squadrons into different purposes; make sure all the vypers in a squad have either the same or functionally similar weapons e.g. Brightlances and EMLs, or Shuriken Cannons and Scatter Lasers.
