This is the fourth month of the escalation league. Uniques not allowed till 1500pt.
250pt Dark Eldar(W), Noise Marines(W).
250 List included Prime, Zoanthrope, Termagants, and Rippers.
500 Black Templar(L), Orks(W)
500 List added Venomethrope, Tervigon, plus another Zoanthrope, took away Rippers.
750 Tau(D), Tau(W)
750 List 1st game added Biovores and Hormagaunts. 2nd game added genestealers and biovores instead.

Tactics include Venomethrope covering behind Tervigon, giving cover save to Tervigon, while avoiding being shot at.
Prime joining Termagant squad for cannon fodder.
Zoanthropes tank hunt, also used Tervigon for cover.
Biovores lob spore mines.
So the question is: Is another squad of Genestealers and a squad of Lictors the appropriate thing to take against 1000pt Tau, Marines, or Orks?
I have every unit except Hive gaurd, Pyrovore, Harpy, Mawlock, Mycetic spore(but could model), Tyranofex, and Ymgarls.
Eurgh... thats a pretty poor list, can you change it?
If you can, you need way more guants (20 minimum) and TONNES of upgrades to your tervigon (toxin sacs, adrenal glands and catalyst are a must have)
Not a fan of zoanthropes as your only form of anti tank, but you dont have hive guard :/ Also you want boneswords and adrenal glands on your prime.
You might wanna check your points on those genestealers.... 4 of them isnt going to come to 200+ points... if you meant 14 though, thats way to many, 8-10 only.
Dont bother with lictors, or another squad of stealers. Either get yourself a trygon, or 20 hormaguants with toxin sacs.

In the 5 games I have played using the Tervigon, it has only got into CC once, so CC upgrades seem like a waste. The gaunt cannon fodder is taken care of by the Tervigon popping out 3D6 Termagants per turn. I can see your point on Hive guard, with 24" Str 8 hitting on 3's, and 2 W no instakill. Have LW/BS on Prime has worked marvelously almost every time except when going against BT's. So the explanation on the Genestealers is 2 squads, which does work out to 200+ pts. 20 Horms with toxin sacks would be 160, and my limited experience with running them was against a Tau player with 2 devil fishes, it was a merry chase. Which is why I went with Genestealers, on the other game, one good outflank roll and I was carving through his HQ/Elites/Troops like a hot knife through butter. Trygon is pretty awesome with no instakill, 6W, and twinlinked CCW, and the ability to give Deepstrike to reserve units once it is on table.
