7 points over but my opponents probably won't mind

Supposed Tactics: Eldrad will be going with the Harlequins and will move to as much cover as I can constantly using Fortune where needed. The Rangers will set up in any cover provided. The Jetbikes will surround the Wave Serpent which is carrying the Fire Dragons to any needed location giving it a cover save while getting a cover save themselves. And the Fire Prisims will keep flying at cruising speed keeping line of sight with each other shooting at what is necessary.

Kinda dodgy I know but I usually improvise anyway so yeah.

I like it. I do think you however have an odd mix of speed:slow units
First take off the star engines and SCs on the Fire Prisms and wave serpents(also don't put individual point costs for upgrades)
Next take off the lance on the wave serpent and probably the undercannon too go with a EML of probably just a SC.
Unless you play necrons you don't need the exarch of Tank Hunters on the fire dragons, crack shot is good for smoke though.
Not sure you need all the upgrades on the harlies though.
By taking off all these extranious point sinks you can probably get another unit of rangers in there

The benefit of spamming different options like the harlies is wound allocation. It's almost like cheating.

too many points in defensive harlies, too many upgrades too few troops and vulnerable/imobile, only 3 tanks....

yesterday i played against dark eldar. turn one he was at 12 inches of my lines turn 2 it was in assault. in the back he had 11 darklances pawning my 7 tanks. but without the serpents and falcons i would had been wiped out in turn 4. with a balanced army i could take a draw against and even hoped in turn 6 for the victory.

my point of this example is that against a balanced good army you`ll get smashed so hard it will feel unreal.

First things first, you've done what every new player does and buy every upgrade possible, I did it when I first started and no doubt most of the people on this forum did it when they first started. Most upgrades are unnessessary and eat up too many points for what they do. For example, your fire Dragon squad, if you take out the Exarch and all his up grades you could increase the squad to 8 Fire Dragons and have 4 points left over.
I find that 2 extra melta shots are far more useful than an extra 6" for your exarches weapon, and crack shot which only affects your exarch. Tank hunters is a useful upgrade but in most cases unnessessary as a squad of 8 Meltas at regular strength will cripple any tank for a turn if not out right destroy it. The only time I'd take Tank hunters was if I knew I'd be fighting Necrons with their monoliths that ignore the 2D6 at half range.

So here my advice, 'Less is more', The less upgrades you take the more troops you get so rethink your list and remove the upgrades you don't need and you'll be surprised at how much more you can get.

I'm using scorpions instead of harlies as they are cheaper and i've taken off a few upgrades. i'm not 100% sure if i've made what you had in mind but hopefully it will improve over time. keep posting replies pls thanks
