Thoughts on my lists? I went for something more in your face.
There is a good chance I could be facing Guard or Nids for my next match up. Can this list handle them? Guard should be pretty basic, but the guy is a bit of a noob and his lists are a bit wonky. I will end up facing some tanks tho. A couple russes and a basilisk and mantacore most likely. The nid player... I have no idea what to expect, he has a lot of variety.
red paint is to help the wagons keep up with the trukks (especially for KFF range)

Hmm my only suggestions are...
1) Replace the big shoota's on the shoota mobz with rokkit's.
2) Get a battlewagon for the nobz group. (Could drop the warboss and the nobz trukk for that, or one of the other trukks).
#2 because if that trukk gets shot out from under you early in the game, your deathstar unit is gonna have to foot slog its way over there. Less likely for them to get popped in an AV14, 4+ save tank.

I need the warboss for his leadership to keep the nobs in line. I only have two Battlewagons currently. I could foot slog one of the shoota boys squads, but not sure if I want to. I was going to have the "deathstar" trukk hide behind the Big Mek's battle wagon until he needed to step out. That could change depending on who I'm fighting of course.
I like the idea of the rokkits on the shootas (but not the mek's shootas because 1 isn't worth it imo), but I might save it for a different list.
Don't look at as "1 rokkit". Look at as X # of rokkit's in the army.I like the idea of the rokkits on the shootas (but not the mek's shootas because 1 isn't worth it imo)
The more rokkit's in the army, the greater chance they have of being effective.
The biggest issue I have with shoota's and big shoota's, is after you wipe out the infantry, they just sit there. By giving them rokkit's, at least they can take pot shots at vehicles/MC's that are in range.
part of it is the group I play with. There is always infantry to kill, so I've found big shootas very effective. Its also why my deffkoptas were converted with big shootas.
