    1.5 K Tau friendly advice would be helpful

    hi, been a while since ive played tau and a few friends are having a mini tourn and i feel a bit tau-ish

    its 1500 and ill be versing DE, SM and Eldar

    HQ
    Shas'o - 140
    -airbursting frag launcher
    -plasma rifle
    -shield gen
    -hard/w multi tracker

    Elite
    Crisis Team x3 - 162
    -plama rifle x2
    -fusion blaster
    -missile pod
    -multi tracker x3

    not to many vehicles (only 2) is mainly cause i plan on sitting still as it is a lengthy board

    tactics - having my shaso join the second crisis team running close quarter shoot and scoot

    first crisis team will be hunting light armour or elite units

    fire warrior teams with pulse rifles will be on either side while carbine team will mve up and down the middle hitting fast moving infantry

    path finders will be marker lighting units and pinning along with snipers (board will have plenty of hills and tall buildings)

    Piranha will be running interference and shooting rear armour

    broadsides will be targeting high av tanks such as land raider or pred (not expecting a raider)

    any tips and advice will be welcomed or any changes needed to the list

    You have WAY too many FW. You should not take more than two teams of 6 with no upgrades.

    Burst cannons on crisis suits are a bad idea.

    Fw should not be outside of fish.

    no the biggest fans of devilfish's and not after a tech army

    ive got the burst cannons of the crisis suits because they will be shooting at close range so 6 strength 5 shots is nice

    ive have all the fw cause most times i play i always lose my troops early on, i want to have numbers of my side and i like fw's

    also the fire warriors s5 shots will be great at slowing down DE raiders and ravagers as the DE playing has fast moving units such as wyches and helions

    I'd seriously recommend your XV8s with twin linked missle pods and target lock. This means one unit can shoot pop three eldar transports in one turn. The other crisis suit team is ok.
    Now if you do this, your list will work. You will probably pop a lot of transports and then you can gun down his army as long as you use all your markerlights.
