    2k Balanced Firepower

Alright, so this is my Latest Attempt at getting a somewhat competitive List, and god i feel like i have spent a crap ton on HQs (well i have) and I'm wondering for you guys (havent played this list yet) that if going deep into pockets for pimpin courts has been worth it so far. anyhoo here Goes, The Courts will be seperated into units by their Letter (A,B,C,&D)

    2000 Pts

    HQ:
    1 Nemesor Zahndrekh, 185 pts (Unit C)

    1 Overlord, 195 pts
    >Warscythe
    >MS Scarabs
    >OverBarge w/Gauss

    Royal Court 200 pts
1 Harbinger of Despair (Unit C)
    >Veil of Darkness
    1 Harbinger of Destruction(Unit A)
    >Solar Pulse
    >Gaze Of Flame
1 Harbinger of Transmogrification (Unit D)
    >Seismic Crucible
    1 Harbinger of Destruction (Unit B )

    Royal Court 190 pts
1 Harbinger of Despair (Unit D)
    >Veil Of Darkness
    1 Harbinger of Destruction (Unit B )
    >Solar Pulse
1 Harbinger of Transmogrification (Unit C)
    >Seismic Crucible
1 Harbinger of Destruction (Unit A)

    Elite:
    1 Triarch Stalker, 150 pts
    >Heat Ray

    Troops:
    8 Warriors, 219 pts (Unit A)
    >1 Ghost Ark

    8 Warriors, 219 pts (Unit B )
    >1 Ghost Ark

    10 Immortals, 170 pts (Unit C)
    >Tesla Carbines

    10 Immortals, 170 pts (Unit D)
    >Tesla Carbines

    Fast Attack:
    5 Canoptek Wraiths, 210 pts
    >Particle Caster x1;
    >Whip Coil x3;

    Heavy Support:
    1 Annihilation Barge, 90 pts
    >Tesla Cannon

    Total Roster Cost: 1998

In case that was too difficult to read, basically Each Immortal squad gets a veil and a crucible, and each ark gets a pulse and another lance. Zandy goes in one of the Immortals, and One of the arks has grenades because i had points left over.

So we have a pretty mobile Necron list, with the slowest thing off hand being the Stalker. This is kind of a dual flying circus going on, with giving the Immortals Tesla so they can hopefully stay out of assault range, and if they do scatter into such, the mog staff and crucible should save their asses. The wraiths may try to deep strike via phased reinforcements if i think my opponent will have some reserves, and the warrior arks will hopefully stay around the Stalker for some twin linkedy goodness. Hopefully the stalker, the 4 lances, and the Overbarge should suffice for anti tank, with the Annibarge offering some suppression as well.

Questions, comments, and cries of madness welcome.

would this list work better if i swapped the Stalker, and took 1 scarab unit of 10 or 2 units of 5?

maybee drop teh stalker for another ann barge and get 4 scarab bases

having 2 barges is great fun from what i read and move anti horde/light armour is allwys good
and the scarabs just keep outta sight untill you need them they will attract alot of template weapons but thats not a bad thing as its keeps those off your troops for a turn or 2

    just my thoughts
The art of war is simple enough. Find out where your enemy is. Get at him as soon as you can. Strike him as hard as you can, and keep moving.
