Another Dark Eldar army from me to play against my mates in order to learn more about the army, this time at the 500pt mark. This one was considerably more difficult to do than my 750, but I'm hoping i've got a decent start at least, again, comments and criticism are very welcome, and indeed desired, as well as tactical musings if you want to share them.
Anyway, the list!
Archon - Blaster & Venom Sword - 80
Kabalite Warriors (9) - Blaster & Raider with Dark Lance - 156
Kabalite Warriors (10 ) - Splinter Cannon & Raider with Disintigrator Cannon - 160
Ravager Gunship - None - 105
The idea is simple really, the Ravager & Raider are used to destroy the enemy's vehicles (if any) and then proceed to destroy the toughest enemy infantry, we're talking termies and stuff here, the warriors & Archon have been equipped with Blasters to assist in this role, the second Raider (the one with the splinter weaponry & Disintigrator cannon) is used to provide a mobile fire base, flying around, shooting enemy units. Close combat is to be avoided at all costs.
Well what do we think? I had originally thought of equipping all the raiders in the same way, i.e. with dark lances, giving me a grand total of 5, but went with the disintigrator because it delivered more shots... I'm also unsure on the blasters as well, although to be honest, I'm unsure what to equip the Archon with otherwise, as I don't want to throw 9 of my warriors into combat when they could be shooting, and finally; Night Shields, I had to drop these in order to equip the 2 Blasters, do you think they should be re-equipped on both raiders in place of them? Leaving me 10 points to spare? If I did that, what would you put on the archon?

Well, seems solid, although lack of power weapon on the archon could be a bit unhelpful. Venom Blades are good, but the negating armour saves always helps. If you wanted to run your HQ like that to be cheap, then you could run a Haemonculus. As for the Archon question, the arms and head come unstuck to the body, and Haemy's are good cause they give a Pain token to their unit, and get liquifiers, which are great. As for better, archons are, but Haemys are cheap, so are generally good. If you want to minimise points, you could take a haemy and some venom squads, mix it up a little.
I see... what do you think about the raiders? Should I give 'em Night-shields & Dark lances, or are they good with the current set-up?
To be honest, at 500 points, there won't be much Anti tank power on the field, so if you can fit a few skimmers in, then you should be fine as they are, as long as you keep your distance.
