    DE 2000 MSU (no Blasterborn!)

    The goal is to have most opponents walking to the fight by the end of turn 2.

    Suggestions and comments welcome.

    this isn't 2000pts, stuff is missing i count 1429.
    So i'm gonna say 3 scourge squads with haywire blasters as you indicated later in the post.
    I have not a clue what you spent the other 181 pts on.
    If you're always worried about crushing the ants beneath you...you won't be able to walk.

    You left out your 3 Scourge units. (dizzie I'm not sure what plane of existence your calculator is from but I'm getting 1609 for what listed)

    Overall I think you've cut too much from your AI in favor of AT, and I also think you're too light on CC units.

    I see most horde lists giving you trouble, and anything with slightly resilient fast CC units will also be a potential problem (unless you've got enough ruins to place all your trueborn/scourges on the second floor).

    Also not a fan of DL trueborn, if you go second against a shooty list you either have to start on the board and pray, or walk them on if you all reserve and potentially loose 2 turns of shooting. DoW can also be a problem, and they're suceptible to table edge blocking if you get careless against the wrong list (which you shouldn't but still something to think about). Also since they're static it's easier to get cover/stay out of range.

    Scourges lose a huge amount of usefulness against GK and now Necrons.


    I'd rate Loota/Shoota horde orks, horde IG, Scarab Farm Necrons and Mech GK as tough match ups. Mech BA, Deathwing, Razor-Fang SW, Mech IG, other DE (esp if they have a big beast pack or 2) and with such little mobile AI even faster Daemon builds (fiend/seeker heavy) could give you trouble if you lose the roll for 1st (or for 2nd with deamons). Obviously this assumes you're playing someone that knows how to use their army.

    Yup, I did leave x3 Squads of 5 Scourges with Haywire Blasters out. Thanks for the catch!

    I wanted to write this list up as an experiment to see what people thought of heavy AT list. It's not something I would probably enjoy playing, as I like assaulting.
