This is my mobile Necron 2k army. Let me know what you all think!
HQ: Overlord w/barage guass cannon. warscythe, arrow, Tesseract 230pts
Court: lancetek w/ pulse group 1 warriors 55pts
despairtek w/ VoD immortals 60pts
Lord w/ orb group 2 warriors 65 pts
Troops: Group 1 9 warriors w/ ghost 232pts
Group 2 9 warriors w/ ghost 232 pts
10 Immortals tesla
Elite: Stalker 150pts
Fast: 6 blades w/ beamers, scope 175pts
6 blades w/ beamers, scope 175pts
10 scarabs 150pts
Heavy: Annihilation barage x2 180pts
2 spyders w/ claws 120 pts.
Total comes to 1994 pts. I want to play this army as a aggresive shooting army. Should have enough firepower to deal with hords and mechs. No troops have to make the dreaded walk across the board, and the scarabs will have one good round to travel being under solar pulse. I put the spyders in there to travel behind the scarabs resupplying them with bodies if they are targeted. If anyone has anything to add please do so! Thank you in advance!
Tomb Blades are 1-5, you can't take 6. I suppose you took 5 Blades all with Scopes for 175 pts.
I like your list. However, I'd throw the Tachyon Arrow and the Labyrinth from your Overlord and the Orb Lord who is hidden in the warriors. I'd take MS Scarabs and a Phase Shifter to your Overlord (to deal with MCs and heavy infantry if needed) and a 3rd Spyder.
It looks solid, I would tend to agree with TheNightbringer on the exchange of the TA and Labyrinth for something that can be used more than once; the phase shifter will give him some endurance and if you're dropping that many points on a non-named HQ, you should definitely make sure he will survive. The third spyder also turns your spyders into something to be a bit fearful of, since that will mean ignoring that blob of bugs will result in a nice ball of anti-tank.
The one thing I would add is that you might want to consider dropping the Overlord entirely given how much you're spending on him and go with something a bit more specialized to cement together your army's tactics and further impede your opponents. What about the idea of trading some points around and gettting yourself Imotekh (since his night fighting adds wonderful wounds to EVERY enemy model, whether he is on the table or deepstriked), and he offers a lot of other nice bumps to your steeling the initiative rolls which help for ranged armies. You might also consider Obyron for his Ghostwalk Mantle, as that might help lessen the need for the command barge giving you points you could spend elsewhere as well.
An observation that you might want to consider as well is a general lack of pie plates and larger area bombardments... Not that there are many things like that in the Necron list, but its worth thinking about how you might deal with more of a horde army like IG or Orks with this list. :-)
