Welcome to Librarium Online!
Ive only played the necron twice and would like criticism on this list
D. Lord with semweave, mss, res orb, tach arrow - 220
Overlord with all upgraddes and comm barge - 350
2 monoliths - 400
2 sets of 10 warriors - 260
squad of 6 deathmarks - 114
And a lord in the court with scythe, res orb, mss, semweave and phase shifter - 150
Have you used 2 monoliths before? I find that they don't really add that much to the army. Too large to deepstrike, super-slow, going to draw every anti-tank shot on the board until they are destroyed. Its 400 points for target practice. I can never get it up far enough to make its points back. The annilation barge is much better in my mind. Cheap, able to hide and faster. I have mixed feelings about the tach arrow. 1 shot, 33% of a miss but it is priceless to turn 1 blow a landraider. The lord in the squad doesn't need a phaseshifter if he is in a squad. Just put the power wound on a warrior, and if there are too ignore armour wounds, he will probably die either way. I don't usually put weave on him because you put the wound on the squad, and if the squad dies, usually he will die no matter what he has. Remember because he is part of the squad and cannot be picked out in comat. Your Overlord has way to many upgrades on him. He will get shot out of the transport and die on his own, and he is almost 25% of your army. Try to get another lord, with at least resorb to lead the second squad, and maybe some cryptecks of destruction for anti-tank.
I just used 2 monoliths this last time I played and I loved it, but I was playing against a lot of infantry and with my command barge I took out the threats to my monoliths with the sweeping scythe strike so thats probably why. Do you think that imotekh would be better instead of destroyer lord to give night fighting for my monoliths to get across the board?
If the two monoliths work for you, great. Personally i never used 2, just the one, and it died turn 1 one game, and 3 the other. The only problem i see in having imotekh is that the night fighting is in your turn also, so you might be hindered by it. It would most likely make your monoliths live longer, but i have not used him yet so i don't know how well he does. I still stand on dropping some of the upgrades, and maybe if you want to run monoliths get some tomb spyders with the claw to repair them as they take damage. Just my thoughts
