I've decided to go to conflict montreal with my mercenaries for 2 reason, the first being how unique my army will be, and second my plague marines aren't that fun for my opponents to play against.

I believe there will do alot of power armours, so that's why I have the council.
    Here we go.

All models have the Ork Hybrid upgrade

Very nice army. The lack of any serious anti-tank fire power might prove to be a bit of a disadvantage against armies with Leman Russes, Preditors and land raiders but the Eviserators should offset that a little bit.
Ask not the ruleboys a question for they shall give you three answers each true and terrifying to behold

I'd go with an eviscerator for the master shaper, thats just my opinion. Also technically you could tac two hounds on to him as they don't keep him from being an IC...
personally I think shaper council is a little expensive, you can fit a few more models if you dropped um for either headhunters or more carnivores...

other than that I think its a well rounded list,
    Good Luck

I would drop them for more carnivores, but these guys are my hard hitters, for any purpuse, for wraith lords, avartars, deamon princes etc.

THanks for the input, I might add some more meltaguns ^_^

oh, I forgot something... buy sluggas with power weapons unless you are going for the melta, thus you get 4 power weapon attacks...

Good number of models for using ork hybrid. A strong troop selection combined with a strong fast attack component, which is good. The note on the pistols has already been added.
The only other thing I might wonder about is the need for BotS on four units. It certainly looks like your army is geared for first turn strike, a 75% proposition, but still a dangerous one to fail (which I do quite more often than statistically reasonable). A kroot force generally goes in waves for that, which I think three is a good number to aim for, but then I dont see much use for 20 points then, other than to keep the auspexes, buy pistols, 1 kroot and some other wargear, not worth the trade really. I just feel a bit hesistant about the idea of that fourth unit being hung out there is the Shaper Council. Thats just asking for it if you fail first turn I think.
But good luck nonetheless, perhaps the Ancestors favor you more than me and you will get the first turn.

Good thinking on the BotS, but I'll explain why. If I want to flood one flank of my enemy, I can get more units at the 18'' line since some will be deploying even closer, and it gets more model attacks in on the charge. Sometimes I end up with units deploying 21'' away from the enemy, and that hurts, one more turn in the open, and 20 pts is a small price to pay not to get in that situation.

My council as 6 hounds as meat just in case I don't get the first turn, and 3 wounds each, so I don't think they will have a problem surviving the first turn untill they get to CC. BUt again, I will be testing the list thursday, so I will and up some battle reports to this tread. Thanks alot.
