Welcome to Librarium Online!
anyone know what piece has been used to make that sniper rifle?
Looks like the barrel is a Krootox barrel, the scope is most likely from a Space Marine sprue (just about any), and the stock and "square" part is the kroot rifle thats part of the arm.
And he definately did a much better job bending the legs than I've ever been able to do.
I simply use the marine one, but you can alots cut them up from a round cylindre piece, takes some time thought.
can any army have snipers?
In what sense is your question? you mean the kroot snipers or sniper rilfes in general?
both, im new to 40k, so im still learning the rules, sry
If you want to know about rules for kroot snipers there is a link to a free pdf at the top of this page.
About all armies, well most armies have some type of sniper or if they dont have a sniper squad then they can take kroot snipers.
SM, Eldar, and IG all have snipers.
If I decided to make a Kroot sniper, I would do it thus :
Take a standard Kroot firing a Kroot rifle.
you will want a long barrel as the picture depicts, so either :
take a spare unattached Kroot rifle and shave/smooth the body of the gun, until it has a uniform round cross-section (this is what appears to have been done in the photo)
take a brass rod and cut it to the required length (plus a few millimetres). Cut the barrel off the Kroot minis rifle and drill a hole in the gun body where the barrel would seat. Do the same for the flash suppressor. Glue them together.
Get a Space Marine sniper scope.
Ryan Dancey, Vice President of Wizards of the Coast, believed that TSR failed because of "...a near total inability to listen to its customers, hear what they were saying, and make changes to make those customers happy." Are you listening, Games Workshop ?
Space marine scopes would look good on the Kroot riffles.
Maybe I shoud make some.
The Sacea will hunt down all of their enemies.
those kroot models r sick man hotness
great conversions done there
