    [1550] Tyranids - Fist Copy!

    Finaly, the new Tyranid Codex has made it to Canada! I got the first copy of the new 'dex today! Litterally, I waited as they took it out of the box, they didn't even get to put the price tag on (I hate the marks those things leave).

    A footlogger nid army? Wierd. You might want to get some mobile elements. Deepstriking or infiltrating units are really useful for tying up enemy firebases while your slower nids walk across the board. Plus, they can assault evil ordinance tanks like whirlwinds early in the game.

    The hormagaunts might get out of synapse range thanks to their FOC and large assault move. You might want broodlord/flying tyrant/flying warriors to prevent that. Or just put leaping on your warriors since they are dedicated cc units anyway.

    FYI, toxin sacs on your carnifex doesn't enhance your barbed strangler, so it's not the greatest biomorph. If you want your fex to be good in cc, might want to raise his WS and/or give him toxic miasma. I personally think bio-plasma is superior to tusks (and a little cheaper).

    Zoanthropes don't all have to take the same powers. So you could mix in some psychic scream or what not if you like.

    I have the powers the same as I need Synapse, and Warp Blast is the best 'nid Anti-Tank ranged weapon.

    Oops. I was thinking the zoans are a single unit. You're right to synapse all of them.
