Welcome to Librarium Online!
I play alot of 750pt carnage battles, and I wanted to make a chessy list to play against some of my powergamin friends. While I found I really couldn't afford much in terms of points, I came up with this list.
Lord: Res. orb, Gaze of Flame (just cause I had 15 points left over)
Because at 750 points my phase out is gonna fluctuate 1-5 Necrons, having something like a monolith really isn't as big a deal for phase out. Considering my normal list has 3 destroyers and 8 scarabs instead of the Monolith, I am only losing 3 necrons. Anyway, tell me what you think.
you'll phase out in seconds man, more warriors
"Heresy is like a garden weed, it won't stop feeding until you... BURN THE WHOLE DAMN GARDEN WITH A FLAMER, BURN IT, BURN IT TO HELL!!!!!" "Is there a wittle puppy in the garden? ITS A DAEMON! BURN IT!"
Well I completley diagree with that statment. Although bringing a monolith in 750 point match is risky because it is alot of points in one unit, my phase out is gonna be about the same no matter what. As I said before, my normal 750 list differs in that instead of a monlith I bring 3 destroyers and a unit of 8 scarabs. A completley different aray of tactical possibilities, but only a differnce of 3 "Necrons." Actually, I've found that Necrons are hard to phase out at these low level games simply because my opponets arn't usally packin enough heat to deny my WBB rolls. But thats personal experiance, and most of my oppoents havn't dealt with Necrons before. Anywho, what I was wondering was if my tacticaly posibilties are good with this list. Thanks in advanced.Originally Posted by bald inquisitor

also with the orb and being able to transport your warriors though the monolith for that WBB reroll, they should be hard to get rid of, never tried a monolith at 750 but have thought about it on several ocasions and really should try it.....mmmmm cheers
