These are actually the only models I own, for those who read my post in the 'Nids section (New to the carnage) I took your advice and tried to come up with something. I realized that I didnt have enough ripper swarms so I left em out. I think I messed up my carnifex here, so I still need some advice on what to do with that bad boy. Overall for a small list what do you guys think? Suggestion and advice? Thanks ahead all for the time.

I dont like your warriors - 150+ points for 3 models? they have both shooting and leaping. i would dedicate them to either shooting and drop leaping, or drop the gun and take rending claws instead. In an army this small every point will count (more bugs etc).
thats just my opinion, i love cheap bugs. so dont take it (or anything i say) to heart.
i have heard that rending claws are better than scything talons on shooty warriors as well. i havent tried this, but it might be something worth asking about.
the 'fex seems too expensive for my taste as well, a 200+ point 'fex in a 1000 point army is just begging to get blown away by every heavy weapon the enemy has to offer. i personally keep my fex's for either shooting or melee, not both. although i can see why people do it. its just a matter of opinion.
i know its all you have, but it might be worth saving up for/buying something like a hive tyrant or something else to throw in (more 'stealers perhaps)
more gaunts would make you too reliable on the synapse for just 3 warriors to handle at this point. (trust me, i had a winged tyrant + 3 warriors escorting my 50ish bugs and all hell broke loose when my synapse died... cursed ld 5)
the gaunts seem perfectly fine, and the stealers, whilst pricey, should annihilate anything they touch, so that should be fun.
for advice on the fex? hmm, walk foreward and pop tanks, then when you get into melee, sit back and enjoy (tanks are a good target i find)
although, use the termies to wind up any units you WONT want to fight (oblitorators, termies etc, as these will hurt your 'fex badly). with your build, larger squads will be perfect to fight. i know its simple, but hell, so are fex's.
Apathy is its own reward...
No, no...I think that what you say, Malignant_one, should be taken to heart as you have realized that nothing in the 'Nid army isn't expendable. More on this later.Originally Posted by Malignant_one
Anyways, the list.
Your warriors... I don't think that any warrior should go without Extended Carapace, so whether you choose to kit them to fulfill the shooting niche or the CC one, keep that biomorph. I also think that either should always be equipped with Rending Claws. That way, you can rest assured knowing that you have a least a little tank-busting insurance with your warriors.
If you want them to be 'shooty':
-keep: Enhanced Senses, Toxin Sacs (I see this as really optional, actually. S6 VC shots and S5 DS shots are perfectly fine. Not to say that S7 VC shots and S6 DS shots aren't better, mind you. It's just that if you choose to be cheaper, it won't be a bad choice.)
-drop: both Adrenal Glands and Leaping
If you want them to be close combat-killers:
-keep: Adrenal Glands (I), Leaping, Scything Talons
-drop: Adrenal Glands (WS), Toxin Sacs, all ranged weapon-symbiotes in favor for some Rending Claws!
You can actually hang onto the Adrenal Glands (WS) and Toxin Sacs if you want, but the way it is is if you skimp on biomorphs, you'll get to field more models for less.
Your Troops... I would not take Scything Talons on my Genestealers, nor any biomorph on my gaunts. As basic as they are, they do just fine and what you should always keep in mind when thinking about biomorphing them is that an 11+ point gaunt will die just as easily to bolter fire as a 10 point one.
Your Carnifex... Drop the Adrenal Glands (I), Scythe Tail and Toxin Sacs. Also, the best survival biomorph that the Carnifex can buy is Reinforced Chitin. Next, Extended Carapace, Bonded Exoskeleton and then Regenerate. I would definitely hang on to Reinforced Chitin and maybe Extended Carapace, but not Bonded Exoskeleton. You need to save some points for some more gaunts and then Synapse to keep 'em in line! As far as which ones, that's up to you. I can't really say that there's any bad choices in the Tyranids codex. I can say, however, that some choices in particular are better than others. I'd rather see what you are thinking about going with next than recommend something, so until next time...
For this small of a list what the others are saying but i prefer to only take lots of gaunts a couple stealers about 6 or 9 warriors and a ravenor maybe or 2 as a nasty suprise. But there stuff is right on.

I only have 1 thing to add...never use regen, seriously.
