Lord - 140 (Warriors lord)
10 warriors 180
20 warriors 360
20 warriors 360
3 Wraiths 123
10 scarabs 160
D - Fields
Tomb Spider 55
strategy is pretty strait forwar ds monloiths DL with wraiths then assault with the 50 warriors blasting away scarabs tieing up anoying tanks / transports
Sounds good. The true necron invasion army. You shouldn't have to veil the wraiths though. They can turbo-boost through terrain if I'm not mistaken and move 12" and assault 6" ignoring terrain. The only problem I see is the low STR of the weapons. If the suppressing fire of the warriors can't drop a monstrous creature than it will chew through you in CC. I understand you would then teleport out of CC and rapid fire again, but I tend to get swept ALOT whan fighting Demon Princes and things that can lower my leadership w/ special abilities. Toughness 7 or higher creatures would best be combated by destroyers or heavy destroyers or lots of wraiths. Not sure how often you face these nasties but I see them A LOT. The only thing I would drop to get these is the veil lord as using him w/ warriors can be tricky and he is taking up 200 pts. If you decide to keep him I would give him a res orb w/ the veil(2 Orbs in an army is MUCH better than one).
Those are my only suggestions to what looks like a killer list.
Looks good. I have 3 problems with it though
first, consolidate the warriors into 2 squads of 20 and 1 of 10. That way, if they're all under cc attack, you'll be able to get more of them through the monoliths.
Second, if you've bought d-fields on the scarabs, mark it, if not, don't overcharge yourself
Third, don't veil with lord. It's too slow and inaccurate. Ditch the veil, and give him a destroyer body. Use the first turn monolith assault:
monolith move 6"
wraiths+lord deploy 2" out (this is the BACK of their base)
front of their base is 3" in front of that
29" assault move on first turn. Do this instead of the veil

The Destroyer Lord also carries a Resurrection Orb?
If he is being escorted by just the Wraiths, then I'm not sure that's entirely worth the points. The Wraiths already have an amazing save. I would rather give the Phase Shifter to the Destroyer Lord and recoup the points elsewhere. In fact, I think if you do that, you should have enough to purchase a Tomb Spyder, which can come in quite handy for We'll be back, plus it's pretty nice in close-combat too, being a Monstrous Creature.
Other than that, the list is solid. You have a great base of Warriors, and good mobility via the Portals.
It's a good list.
WHFB: Dwarfs || WH40k: Imperial Fists, Necrons || WM/H: Trollbloods || BFG: Necrons
A great, solid army list. It is too very balanced. I'd like to hear how it does on the tabletop.
nice list! id say maybe drop a 'lith and get more warriors, plus another sqaud of wraiths, your going to need at least six of them to be effective. Maybe some Immortals in the mix. Vod Lords do much better with Immortals than with Warriors IMO

While I would normally agree with you dcawrest202, his list negates the need for extra wraiths or even the Immortal/VoD combo. The second Lith makes up for the teleportation and his CC lord will provide ample backup for wraiths as they fufill their role as assassins. I suppose if he didn't have the CC lord I too would recommend the extra wraiths as shock troops, but I think his list looks good as is.Originally Posted by dcawrest202
Your DLord needs a shifter if he plans to get in hot and heavy with any CC. Just about everyone out there has power weapons (other than tau) on at least one guy in each squad. They'll rip him a new one with the new CC rules.
I would throw on the shifter, maybe a Gaze of Flame, and send the DLord out with the scarabs rather than the wraiths. Fearless, tons of wounds, etc.
Honestly I would lose the wraiths, I hate em. They die way to easily. If they had 1 more wound I'd like them. Get a few destroyers if you can fit it in for long range first few turns mojo.
