    1000 Tau - Tournament

    This is my list that im going to use in tournaments and friendly games

    Shas'O w/ Plasma Rifle, Burst Cannon, missile pods and Hard Wire multi tracker [125]

    2x Crisis Suits, Plasma rifle, Missile pod and multi tracker [130]
    5 stealths burst cannons [150]

    12 fire warriors w/ Pulse rifles [120]
    Devil Fish w/ Multi tracker, decoy launchers and targettign array [100]
    12 fire warriors w/ Pulse rifles [120]
    12 Kroot, kroot Rifle [84]

    hammerhead w/ railgun, Burst Cannons, Multi Tracker, Decoy Launchers and target lock [170]

    total Points 999
    44 models
    2 tanks
    42.4% troops

    the kroot are quit useful accually they killed a librarium termie in combat and some termies in a round of shooting.

    Looks a lot like my own 1000 list...that said, you might have trouble with heavier targets such as enemy tanks. Are you sure you want such a varied loadout on your Shas'o? It's fine but I would just choose two of the three weapons...*Shrugs*

    I'd have to say a few things...

    Shas'O = needs to lose a weapon! Ick, I hate three weapon Commanders...>.> it'll save points.

    Stealths = bump them to 6, or drop them to 4....for morale reasons.

    Devilfish = too many upgrades, in my opinion .... but that's up to you!

    i can drop the pod on shas'O and have 15 points left which i can add 2 more kroots or 2 hounds

    Honestly, the pods are better suited on there than the Burst Cannon ... and 5 Stealth Suits = not the best idea, for morale reasons.

    the only reason i didnt use stealths is because of my last game they got shot down buy devestators, but then again he kept on shooting them nothing else so i targeted his termies and won.

    Shas'El w/ Plasma Rifle, Multi tracker, BurstCannon and Black Sun Filter 84pts

    5 is better than 4 for one reason. Instead of taking a test after losing one casualty you have to lose two for the 25%. Not to mention the extra shots. More is better. I don't care what all you edumacated math majors say. :wacko:
