This list is just fun to play with. My most enjoyable games with this army were facing IG, Space Marines, and Tau.
1 Necron Lord w/
Staff of Light
Gaze of Flame
10 Warriors (x2)
3 Heavy Destroyers
5 Scarab Swarms w/
5 Immortals (x2)
your list has many problems
1. don't put a destroyer body os a lord with RO as one or other will be completely wasted
2.you need a lot more warriors, they are essentiall
3.scarab squads need to be large in order to do anything
5. never field small immortals, and never fail to give immortals a lord with VOD
6. if you get HD's at all, split them up.
-to fix this i would remomend getting your lord a veil of darkness and res orb and combining your immortals, and putting him in there. then, i would remove the heavy destroyer in order to expand your scarab squad, and get more warriors.
Procrastination- hard work often pays off over time, but laziness always pays off now.
Indifference- it takes 43 muscles to frown, and 17 to smile, but none to just sit there with a dumb look on your face.
-Votewar 40K III= 1st place
-Votewar 40k mini= 2nd place
-Votewar fantasy 2= 2nd place
Thanks for the comments, they made me take a second look at my codex. All this time I thought my maximum immortal size was 5...hmmm can we say hooked on phonics? or hooked on numbers, one of the two. I will definately combine those two squads then.
I would like to say that I have yet to play a game where my five scarab bases have been totally beaten and they take down tanks extremely fast.
I can understand your comments on the lord with the destroyer body. You either love it or you hate it. My reason for using them in this setup is simply because I wanted to use it for some fun, nothing serious, and for me that involves keeping my destroyers alive and skimming randomly around the table.
Those comments are greatly appreciated! Oh yeah, this particular list is my Saturday mornings at the local games workshop store. Its current record is 11/3/5 and I hope to play it a couple more times this Saturday.
