Here is a recent necron list ive created. It is for fighting space marines and nids. The
space marines have 12 terminators. Also, i wanted to have an original list.
Necron lord w/ VoD and Res. Orb; 200p
50 necron warriors; 900p
7 Destroyers; 350p
3 Tomb Spyders; 165p
6 H. Bestroyers; 390p
Total: 2005p (brothers dont care about 5p)
67 necrons; Phase Out at 17. Advice appreciated
Not bad at all. I prefer lots of models and troops so I really like your list. But, what is the configuration of your squads, I suggest taking 5 squads of 10 so you do not lose that much when the termies and stealers hit your lines. Also I think a 'lith would be great for you. 'nids in my observations get annoyed by them. To get the points, drop the 3 spyders and 2 Heavy destroyers now you can add a 'lith, a destroyer (2 squads of , and give your lord a warscythe so he can take some termies down with him without having to worry about invulnerable saves. Good luck.
I agree about the 'lith, there really isn't much that nids can do against it, and even the SMurfs lascannons will have some trouble with it. You could also drop some of your warriors for some immortals for your lord to tele with.
If you dont have/want immortals I reccomend forming your warriors into two squads of 15 and 2 squads of 10. that way you can if you get a 'lith also, you can teleport half your squads out of CC if **** hits the fan. I would also see about making your destroyers two squads of three, that would free up more points for the 'lith or the immortals if you get them.
"I am the architect of fate!"
-against the termies and the nids, it is essential to be able to escape CC, otherwise you're going down, to this aim i would suggest...
1.getting a monolith
2.droopping 10 warriors, and forming 2X20 squads
3.pay for this by dropping 1 HD
-then you will be able to teleport all of your slow moving squads out of CC if you get stuck, with the VOD and lith, and the rest of your army moves fast enough to escape.
Procrastination- hard work often pays off over time, but laziness always pays off now.
Indifference- it takes 43 muscles to frown, and 17 to smile, but none to just sit there with a dumb look on your face.
-Votewar 40K III= 1st place
-Votewar 40k mini= 2nd place
-Votewar fantasy 2= 2nd place
thanx for the help guys. i think the monolith will help but i just didn't want to be too cheesey.
i also think it would be hard to kill the termies without spyders and h destroyers.
