What is the point of having the Kroot Rifle "count as an additional close combat weapon" when you can't combine it with another close combat weapon for +1 attack? I honestly don't understand GW sometimes...
If I understand correctly, your basic Kroot only gets 1 attack? I thought they were supposed to be GOOD at close combat?
And what's with the repeated names? Splinter Rifles already belong to Dark Eldar. And some of the upgrades (i.e. "bravery") are just funny. The little story about *why* the Kroot become braver by eating certain things is totally rediculous if you know anything about genetics...LOL!
I'm not making fun of the Kroot Mercenary army, just GWs inability to release well-thought-out supplements! I guess it's better than nothing...beats the heck out of the Harlequin release...
the kroot rifle counts as two weapons in cc so you do get the extra attack, and the weapons from other armies is because there mercenaries and will sometimes be given weapons from the people who paid. But i doo agree about the bravery thing i mean who could brave through dna thats just daft.
Well thats basic nature vs nurture

the kroot rifle counts as 2 cc weapons.
on the adaptations point, their called adaptations, the kroot have adapted to their environment, with the shapers forcing certain environments on them, for example eating poisoned animals.
You may already know me, you may have met my followers, i am Allah.
It says in the armor that it counts as an *additional* close combat weapon. Kroot don't already have a close combat weapon, so they count as having only 1? Or is the wording messy and they *mean* to say that it counts for the extra attack? It's strange because right below that is says splinter rifle: 2 attacks (interesting, is this supposed to be a DE splinter rifle? If so this could be a hint to how DE are changing...). Has this been FAQed officially somwhere? Just curious...Originally Posted by blazeroxYes I know, but I am a believer in Nature vs Nurture, and you can only be *predisposed* to behavior types i.e. aggressive, withdrawn, competitive, violent but bravery is more of a social/emotional/cultural concept. I just found it rather entertaining to pick fun at the shoddy job that GW often does on supplements. You can tell there's no thought behind it. What do they do in studio, anyways? Sit around with their thumb up their *** all day long?Originally Posted by blazerox
