A shooty Nid army....dont see too many of these around. So how would you use this army? Any tactics or something?
i would give this list 3 turns against an ig armored company, or any army with tanks, on any moderate sized board(very slow tyranid units). although it is a very interesting list, i would be very interested to know how you intend to play this list and what armies you will face with it.
umm... how is an IG armored company supposed to kill all of that in 3 turns? 44 T6 3+ wounds and another 12 T6 2+ wounds.
Especially considering the amount of anti-tank weaponry getting shot back. 2 str10 VC shots + 1 str8 strangler shot per heavy support fex, 3 str8 VC shots per tyrant.
This list would take down vehicle heavy lists fairly easily. It would be infantry heavy lists with good amounts of las cannons / missile launchers supported by PFist wielding assault squads that would be the biggest problem.

although the army is really slow.
well i'd take away the genestealers...they are fast and most people fear them a lot...thus the small 6 genestealer broods will get shot up very VERY quick. maybe drop them, add 2 broods of rippers with leaping and take the rest of the points for your gargoyles....add more of them. Though flesh hooks are awesome for fast attackers i don't think your heavy carni's need them... they are only 1 point... which is cool.. if you need the points any where...i'd take them out... you want to keep these guys in cover so they get the 5+ or better cover save Plus the symo attacks... but ya...your army looks real fun to play
Very nice, even against mass troops of the IG, the barbed stranglers will wreak havoc. as will the devourers (if you can get close enough) Nice use of the gargs too. However, since no one else will get into close combat to help them i give them 2 turns most before it just becomes an exchange of firepower.
