Hi there all you Devourers! I'm playing my marines against a friend, and we're doing a 1500pt battle. I have a list here and was wondering what you guys would do to tear it apart. Not sure what type of game we'll play, or what the terrain will be just yet but wanted some advice about it. Thanks.
Force Commander: Power Sword, Bolt Pistol - 76pts
2 x Dreadnought – 210pts
4 x 8 Tac Squads – 480 pts
Hvy Bolter + Plasma Gun - +60pts
2 x 2 Land Speeder Tornadoes: Assault Cannon/Hvy Bolter on each – 320pts
2 x Pred Annihilator: Hvy Bolter Sponsons, Extra Armor – 270pts
Whirlwind x1 – 85pts
HQ will hop in with one of the tac squads.

Personally just having a quick look at your list and therefore knowing what i would field to beat it.
Mass MC's. You've gone lotsa Hvy bolters etc to eliminate my swarm army so I'd hit you with 2 tyrants four fecis some Thropes with synapse and mass spine gaunts.
Your lack of Armour penetrating Weapons means my MC's will be nigh invincible while 2 Gun fex's will be able to pick off your tanks 1 by 1. I'd chuck the walking tyrant with tank duty as well. The flyign tyrant and 2 elite Carni's would be outfitted with mass devourers to remove your troops from the game. The spine gaunts will provide the dice rolling numbers to over run your tatical squads.
The Zoanthropes will help provide Synapse coverage as well as being either execellant troop killing with s5 ap3 warblast blast (blast marker) and the 2+ save or a tank buster with the S10 AP2 direct blast.
All in All i fear with your lack of MC killing ability you will never wipe out my main firepower.I would target your dreads first so you might wanna drop pod them, dreads in Close combat have a reasonable chance against a MC if they go first... though not against a fex, str9 +2d6 every hit will penetrate.

He has gone tank heavy.
A Dakkafex (2 x Dev) will make short work of his dreads, speeders and mess up the tac squads. He will probably sit back and use his long range firepower to wear you down. You will probably need 3 shooty MCs packing VCs & BS. A Lictor will probably take out the whirlwind or force it away from cover. In my experience whirlwinds havn't been a big problem. Your standard rending critters or a Flytyrant will kill the tac squads.
Shoot the assault cannon vehicles first. 16 rending shots a turn will masacre both your 'stealers and MCs.
Yea I was a bit concerned about shooty fexes and flying tyrants. I think maybe I'm hoping that the rending assault cannons can dish out enough 6's to bring them, but I was thinking between the plasma guns and lascannons and them I could focus fire them down. But likely not. Thanks for the heads up guys.
