hey all i'm just starting necrons and bought the codex a few days ago so i made an atempt to make a couple 400 pt list im not sure which one will work better. if anyone has any suggestion or coments plz let me know.Well here they are
1 heavy destroyer=65
i gave the immortals d fields because i had 15 pts left and couldn't find anything else to spend it on. Now here's the second list.
1 tomb spyder=55
list 2 seems more balanced to me. but let me know what ya'll think.
Both lists are okay but your phase out is is low.
A good 400 point list is as follows:
Total: 401 points
The wraith is ther basically to make up the points but he can also do a bit of damage (especialyl as combat atrol is played on small tables).
The warriors are there to keep you above phase out.
Please note however that in the rulebook where it mentions the combat patrol rules it has a line thats says particularly harsh rules can be ignored to get a fair game (since each codex isn't designed to build a 400 point army), so you could technically ignore phase out, though I would ask your opponent first.
In combat patrol, is the PO rule in effect? I thought it wasn't.

Thats what i thought.o well i could be mistakin. ill look into it though.
I've played combat patrol games with no Phase Out in effect. If they allow that, try this list out
10 Warriors 180
6 Pariahs 216
Keep the Pariahs behind the Warriors and just march. You can lay down heavy fire and people will think twice about charging you, since you can counter charge with the Pariahs. Not to mention their ability to lower leadership.
