    NIDzilla!!!!! (1900 'Nids)

    Hello all, I'm new to these forums but have found much help in them thus far.

    I play WHF but I'm about to try out 40K with some friends and chose Tyranids....specifically the 'Godzilla' lists I've read about. After reading thru anythin i can get my eyes on about 'Zilla lists and reading thru my Codex and checking out the cool Carnifex conversions online I tried it out in Army Builder. What i need now is some input and advice from the more knowledgeable about my list. The only thing I'm set onis keeping it strictly rippers for troops..I like those lil' guys

    A Carnifex can only fit into the Elite slots if it is 115 points or under.

    try for a 1500 list
    most games I will play are 1k or 1.5k its the average points limit .try not to gover the points limit

    Drop the warp field you don't need it you have EC it doesn't do anything except add a 6+ invunerable save. If you want that drop the EC. Drop the symbiote rippers it achieves nothing. Consider dropping the lashwhip and bones word for another ranged weapon as this guy isn't the most maneuverable. Therefore he could also drop the ranged biomorphs for toxin sacs making him more deadly. For survivability you could add some guard.

    Drop the Scream give him the Warp field for the Save. Getting a save on missle launchers is awesome. Most people take them in there army because of how versatile they are. But by having a 2+ save you are negating there effect against you. I like his config otherwise very scary.

    As already pointed out you can't have this here maybe switch him to HVY Support, You should only really need one close combat fex a game. They're very slow.
    Lose the Cysts and Rippers. Implant attacks isn't really needed, anything toughness 5 or less is instant killed. Add regeneration and Bonded Exoskeleton to give your opponents headaches when they try and kill him.

    Give them +1 BS its cheap but it means you hit on 5+ rerolling misses instead of 6+

    honestly not worth it, if you want fast attack grab some raveners, flying warriors, gargoyles all are sound choices. the image of 3 squads of gargoyles flying around your mass monstrous creatures is pretty cool. (winged rippers if you want your rippers so much)

    See above, besides this is only 1 mine 1 small blast marker thats it. It's worse than a hunter killer missile. Check how many ppl take that.

    Consider making this guy a gun'fex you don't need to take every biomorph you can be selective enabling him to be just as deadly but at a less points cost. e.g.
    Fex
    + Extended Carapace
    + Enhanced Senses
    + Regenerate
    + Reinforced Chitin
    + Venom Cannon
    + Barbed Strangler
    + Bonded Exoskeleton
    Awesome against tanks just as survivable as your other guy but because i'm not aiming for any close combat with him save 100 odd points
