painted my Karandas model yesterday to look all pretty. figured i'd take him in a few games.
3 squads of 9 scorpions, exarch w/claw and stealth 207 each
2 squads of 6 warp spiders 132 each
4 reapers, exarch w/missile launcher and fast shot 233
7 swooping hawks, exarch, web of skulls, sustained assault 220
2 Vypers, scatter laser, shurican cannon 75 each
2 Wraithlords, brightlances 120 each
1 War walker, starcannons 100
Total = 1993
with regards changes, i want to keep the hawks squad big as their main role is flying round the back of the battlefield (unharmed because of the 31 infiltrating CC troops) picking off light infantry squads. if they need to zoom in and clean a squad up, they have the range to do it. thoughts?

i would take out the hawks and then add another sqaud of reapers
then since you lack anti infantry i would add some more anti tank weapons by giving the vypers lances
but hey thats my opinion
Can't Karandas lead one of the squads and save you the points on an exarch there?
Are your Wraithlords going to be defending your reapers back in your deployment while all your scorps are up front?
Maybe Haywires for anti-Tank?
he can, but they can't infiltrate with him. the wraithlords will make their way up the board and are really only in there for a brightlance platform. the reapers main defence will be their massive range and the los blocking combats i hope to produce.
So I went back and checked Karandas' entry and it says that he has Stealth. Does that mean that he can infiltrate himself, but can't convey that ability to the rest of his squad? Is the reasoning that he has to start as an independent character then join a squad in the first movement phase? If those are the rules, all well and good, but it seems a little weak to me.
EDIT: This is being discussed elsewhere.
