i posted an army earlier and got some advice... taking those into consideration.... this is what i came up with second time round
Broodlord + toxin sacs: 80
+6 genestealers: 96
8 spinegaunts: 40
8 termagaunts: 48
5 rippers: 50
2 x 8 hormagaunts with adrenal glands: 176
3 x warrior with scything talons, enhanced sense and toxin sacs, deathspitter
+1 heavy, same except it has a venom cannon
3 x warrior with scything talons, toxin sacs, rending claws, leaping
point out flaws? suggestions?

Good so far, definitely more synapse in the mix. Drop the rippers and add some wings or atleast leaping to the more shooty of the two warrior broods, lest they get left back after the 2nd turn. Also, Extended Caprice on the Warriors would help them survive a bit longer. Also put EC on the brood lord and stealers to keep them alive.
The truest form of tactical prowess is to make your enemy smile happily as they walk into your trap.

3 warriors: scything talons, rending claws, leaping, flesh hooks, extnded carapace, toxin sacs
2x 8 spinegaunts: 80pts
2x 8 hormagaunts with adrenal glands: 176pts
the carapace is a bit expensive on the genes :wacko:
It's a bit expensive per-model, but it improves their survivability from 33% to 50% in CC, and from 0% vs. bolters (and other AP5 weapons) to 50% vs. bolters... that's a huge difference.Originally Posted by Dark_exCal
