Good unit, though to save some points, you could drop the guards and give him extended carapace. Necrons only have 2 weapons that are capable of beating 2+ save (non-assaulty, which he won't be wanting to get in charge range): the center hole of the monolith pie plate and heavy destroyers. Heavy destroyers are a joke as they get only one shot.... and you can easily wipe them out without WBB cause you can take down the entire squad in one turn easy. And then if a monolith is pie plating you, it's not using the gauss flux arc, nor porting a unit, which is a good thing.

Consider taking a 2xtl-devourer tyrant with wings, toxin sacs, enhanced senses, and warp field. He's 196 points, but well worth it to try to take down immortals and destroyers.

I'd definitely take the carnifex over the warriors. The warriors (especially without extended carapace) will fall way too easy to return fire.

Genestealer squads are great, but consider making them 8-man squads with extended carapace. With the ability for the necrons to port out of combat, you can't charge and be safe from all of their ap5 fire. You'll need the save.

Not a big fan of these guys myself, but they can have their places. Just make sure you have them charge along next to the flying tyrant or you'll be out of synapse in no time.

Psychic scream works wonders against necrons, being able to break their leadership 10 and run them down in close combat. Doing that is the best way I've found to take them down.

These guys are good, but in all honesty, I don't think you need the reinforced chitin. I've played against necrons 5-6 times, and only once did I have one (and only one) of my 2+ save TMCs die. They simply don't have the ap1-2 weaponry to take them down.

Fantastic, thank you for your advices.
I removed the guard (good point the 2+ save), and reinforced chitin on carnis.
    cheers

I would definately equip your flying tyrant with TL Dev this enables him to eliminate a full squad of Heavy Destroyers. These guys are nasty because while they only get 1 shot its a 3+ hit and they can move 12" and fire keeping out of range of you CC troops. However a flying tyrant with TL Devs has 12 shots at an effective 30" range... and on average kills 3.5 Heavay destroyers... removing all 3 as moob points out removes the WBB rolls. They are also very good against Pariahs which don't get the WBB roll but have a 24" assault gun S5 ap4 which is very painful on the stealers....

Note choose ur targets wisely witht he devourers try and deny him WBB rolls by eliminating a squad or untis that don't get WBB as you will kill on average 3 necrons no matter what your fighting at another good target is a group of wraiths as these guys can tie up a group of stealers with there 3+ invulnerable saves.... and there also very good in HtH

Carni's if i know i'm gonna fight necrons and only necrons i generally build a cheap HtH carni which is specifically built for taking down a Deepstriking Monolith. Deepstriking monoliths have to be one of the scariest things alive and with the teleport and and the lords abilities you can find that troops you thought you had tied up in CC are actually rapid firing at you. so as moob pointed out grab EC on those stealers.

Finally I would swap warpblast on 1 of the zoans to synapse it jsut removes the threat of insta kill and provides another synapse bubble. I think for psychic scream to work well you want 3 of them with it so i'd remove a warp blast.
