Here's my 2000pt army: Going to battle Tau, SM, Bugs, Orks, Guard, , some Chaos... Point is, it needs to be well rounded.
Lord w/ 210
Lord w/ 175
Veil of Darkness
Gaze of Flame
Warriors x16 288
Warriors x16 288
Immortals x7 196
Flayed Ones x8 144
Wraiths x3 123
Destroyers x4 200
Heavy Destroyers x2 130
(in two groups)
Monolith x1 235
Dlord with wraiths racing toward flanks
Foot Lord with immortals providing support fire anywhere, also possibility of getting warriors out of tight spot
I finished paining all but 20 warriors and 3 Destroyers (waiting on Battleforece), so as soon as I find a digital camera, I'll get some pictures up.
Nice, i would suggest maybe tomb spyders or scarabs
I don't have any room; what do you think I should take out for either of them? Any suggestions?
Take out an Immortal and two warriors. That gives you 64pts that can be spent on one tomb spyder or 5 scarabs swarms.
Use the lord in conjuntion with flayed ones to lower Ld
5 Scarabs... I may toy around with that for a bit, thanks. I'll tell y'all how it goes.
Have you considered Phylactery at all. Its quite a nice investment for at least one of your lords.
I like the army, looks very nice.

concerning the 5 scarabs that you might take, remember to have a plan for them. do you want them to hold up enemy infantry squads, or take out tanks (disruption fields - woot). for 15 wounds, 12 inch movement, i think its worth taking out an immortal and 2 warriors.

I'm looking at taking out 4 warriors instead and getting 6 scarabs, without fields.
Hmm they could do a lot or they could do nothing IMO though I think they are worth the risk so deffinatly worth the change IMO.
Is it me or does any other necron player get annoyed when they see people saying "Necrons eat souls". How is that even possible as souls are part of the warp and necrons want nothing to do with it? Eh probaly me just me being picky.

7 is an odd number for a squad....
I'd drop one Heavy Destroyer and four Warriors, and with the 137 spare points, add an Immortal to boost your Flying Circus, and get six Scarabs swarms with D-Fields. You'll have 13 points left.....
Phylactery for your Lord?
