Not horrible if a little unfocused. A few points to consider:Originally Posted by Diaz

-Crisis suits can't do everything, so don't try to make them. Figure out what they can do that the rest of your army can't and focus on that. As for the fireknife, it isn't a bad beginner configuration to get the basic strategys for crisis teams down, but as you progress, look into the more specialized configurations as they are generally more efficient uses of the unit.
Hope it was helpful and enjoy 40k
Blais's Paint Studio-Getting broken armies good soft scores since 2009
t is quite obvious you are trying to cover all bases (this is not a crticism in anyway most players new to 40K do this). You need to think about 1000pt lists, because of the limited points most lists do not have a massive heavy presence (tanks) and HQ tends to be limited (most really powerfull stuff tends to be limited by points cost or points for the game i/e 1500Pts limitation on taking characters).
So with that in mind lets look at your listLose the CIB and go for either plasma/fusion and multi with HW target array or Plasma/Missile pod/Multi and HW target array, with both these set ups you will have a very hard hitting Shas who can deal with most armour (AV13 max) but I would recommend the MP/Plasma for you simply for the range (it will keep your Shas safer till you get some experience)Originally Posted by Diaz
EliteI would lose one of the XV8's and take a full strentgh Stealth squad, believe me reduced STealth squads are a bad idea, you need the casualty absorbtion and the extra shots. I would lose the flamer XV8 (useless) and take the fireknife.Originally Posted by DiazLose the MT it is not needed and the Kroot squad could do with either some more Kroot or some Kroot hounds, just to beef up either the shooting or CC a bit.Originally Posted by DiazI am a bit dubious of the value of pathfinders in 1000pt lists, the need for them is not so great, armour is not so much of a threat, I would lose these and take another 12 FW (basic 120pt squad) and with the remaining points bulk out the Kroot and take 2 more drones to make it a full squad.Originally Posted by DiazAgain make it a full squad, how do you intend using these, they are a nice deep strike squad place them behind an enemy unit thats walking up the field and set up a cross fire, the other use is as a shiled for the Shas (circular formation do a search on my name for a tactica on this use).Originally Posted by DiazNothing wrong here sound choice but why have you not taken a multi tracker, if the points are tight lose the decoys, the multi gives you the ability to move 12" and still fire the big gun, and also gives you the skimmer down grade hits to glancing benefit, multi's are essential please take one.Originally Posted by Diaz
So list changes
Shas'El fireknife with TA will take out most tough characters and most armour
XV8 fireknife, good sound choice, maybe think about Helios multi PL/FU/MU for the extra hitting power of the fusion.
Stealths, full squad is a must, will aggravate and harrass enemy troops quite nicelty and be hard to counter in a 1000pts
12FW in DF,nice mobile tough squad.
12FW on foot with 10 Kroot and maybe 4 to 6 hounds, nice solid firebase the FW are supported by the Kroot and the DF / FW squad can lend support if needed.
Fast attack, 8 man drone squad, nice DS unit or protection for the Shas ( I would use them as protection)
Heavy, HH railhead, take the MULTI
This should be able to handle most 1000pt lists, enough with the XV8's and HH to handle armour and a lot of anti infantry, the XV8's are aslo very capable of aking mose tough units down. hope that helps.
Wow, thanks for all the suggestions guys. I really appreciate you taking a look at my newb list  I did kinda get the idea that I was thinning my forces out too much so I'll definitely look into beefing up some of my squads and focusing each of my units on a particular role. I really liked the idea of a sniping/scouting unit with the pathfinders, so maybe I can use those in a larger point army? Thanks again!
