Ork 750pt army list:
Mad dok grotsnik(x1)
Ard boys(x13)-shootas, slugga and choppa, 3 rokkit launchas
Slugga boyz(x19)-slugga and choppa, 3 rokkit launchas
shoota boys(x17)-shootas, 3 big shootas
Killer kans(x3)-dreadnaught close combat weapon, rokkit launcha
Total: 748 pts, 50 models, 3 vehicles
this is my first attempt at making an ork army list so please post helpful critiques! i was thinking of maybe replacing the shoota boyz with another squad of slugga boyz but the idea was that the shoota boyz will blaze away providing (or trying to provide ) cover for the slugga boyz while they get into CC. i will attach mad dok grotsnik to the slugga boyz in order to make a fearsome CC unit. the KK will take out enemy tanks and other major threats and then join in the CC. so what do you guys think?
Well unfortunatly I don't think you can have mad dok grotsnik as your HQ. Alas, it is required of every ork player to field a warboss as one of the HQ selections. Personally I would also spring for more slugga boyz rather than shoota boyz. However my love of hordes of footslogging sluggas is easily noticed. Also, in a 750 points, I can't help but feel the 'ard boyz would be better off being replaced by another mob of sluggas and some grots. Oh and rokkits for all!

okay so here is my slightly revamped army list of 750 pts:
Warboss(x1)-big shoota, choppa, bionik bonce, bionik arm, cybork body, 'eavy armour
Slugga boyz(x17)-slugga, choppa, 3 rokkits, nob with power claw
Slugga boyz(x17)-slugga, choppa, 3 rokkits (the warboss chills with these homies)
Burna Boyz(x10)-slugga, choppa, 4 burnas
Killer kans(x3)-dreadnaught close combat weapon, rokkit launchas, armour plates
Total: 748 pts, 45 boyz, 3 kans
i was thinking about using some sort of dread bash tactic with this army. so tell me what you guys think!

That squad of burna boys is just begging for a Mek with a Kustom Force Field. The KFF is THE best item orks can buy. It turns your boys crappy 6+ save into a 5+ inv against shooting. And if your not facing any ordanance or template weapons you could almost fit all of your boys inside the 6" range. *edit* almost forgot to mention it ain't half bad to stick kans under either =P *edit*

thanks for the helpful info! if i include a mek with the squad does in count toward the units total #, as in can i have 10 burna boyz and a mek or can i just have 9 boyz and 1 mek. also do you think that armour plates or grot riggers on the kans would be useful? thanks for all the help ganja.
armor plates on kanz are a big fat yes.
trim your boss a little. drop the big shoota and either give him a p.klaw or another CC wep. In a low point game you should ditch the bionic arm and the bionic bonc as well.
You have to upgrade one burna boy to a mekboy. so itll be 9 boyz and a mek (details are in the codex entry) get the mek the KFF so he can shield the other boyz. Also split your killa kanz into 3 units of 1. That way theyll have to shoot at each one seperately : )
