I took this list in a friendly 'tournament' for Medusa V - got a draw vs Dark Angels and crushing wins vs Orks and vs Sisters of Battle.
HQ1 Hive Tyrant: enh. senses, ext carapace, TS, VC, TL devourers = 174pts
HQ2 Hive Tyrant: Adrenal +WS, enh. senses, TS, winged, STs, TL devourers, warp field = 196pts
TROOP1 10 x Hormagants: adrenal +WS, +I = 120pts
TROOP2 8 x genestealers: ext carapace, fleshhooks = 168pts
TROOP3 8 x genestealers: ext carapace, fleshhooks = 168pts
TROOP4 10 x termagants = 60pts
TROOP5 10 x termagants = 60pts
FAST1 2 x raveners: STs, RCs = 80pts
FAST2 1 x ravener: ST, RCs = 40pts
FAST3 3 x warriors: adrenal +WS, +I, fleshhooks, wings, STs, RCs = 135pts
HEAVY1 1 x carnifex: enh senses, VC, barbed strangler = 148pts
HEAVY2 1 x carnifex: enh senses, VC, barbed strangler = 148pts
TOTALs 1497pts; 56 nids; 5 synapse.
On the field of battle the winged HT leads the hormies and raveners in a fast, powerful turn 1 or 2 assault backed up by the genies in turn 2 or 3. The other HT uses the fexes as a meat-shield and to take out vehicles and heavy support units. The winged warriors and termies support either effort and opportunistically take objectives and harrass forward troops.
The big weakness of this list is that in escalation there is no synapse on the table until at least turn 2.

ok, i'm rather new to tyranids, but i'll try to help if i can.
my suggestion is that you add a few more bodies to your warrior squads so its a bit more resilient.
maybe include anouther squad of hormagants or at least make the squad a little bigger.
As you said yourself the main weakness of this army is escalation. So you should either get some lictors to get your forces on the board faster or get some elite warriors so that you actually have some synapse on the board turn 1.
Is it me or does any other necron player get annoyed when they see people saying "Necrons eat souls". How is that even possible as souls are part of the warp and necrons want nothing to do with it? Eh probaly me just me being picky.

Hey - just wanted to throw a quick suggestion to you and future army list posters. Don't post how many stats are gained for the biomorphs - just post what stat is increased (not how much of it!). It gets your point across that way, and anyone commenting on your list will know what it's adding, anyways. I went ahead and editted your list, so you're all set. ^_^ Thanks!
