My First Attempt at a DE 500 point army.

    Kabal Of The Decaying Soul

    Squad 1.
Dracon-Shadow Field,Combat Drugs, Agoniser, Splinter Pistol.
    9 Warriors-2 splinter cannons.
    Raider- 212,.

    Squad 2.
    10 Warriors, 2 dark lances-110

    Squad 3
    10 Warriors.2 Splinter Cannons- 100

    Talos.-100.

    Total-514,

I could drop the shadow field or combat drugs to be able to play a 500 point army.

I just started playing DE and this is my first army.

I wouldn't drop either the shadow field or the combat drugs.

you'd be better served dropping a heavy weapon (or better yet, 2 warriors).

I don't know if you've used the talos before (or have the mini yet),
I've found them to be GOOD at one thing in particular - drawing enemy fire. (which can be good, as it allows the rest of your army a chance to get some work done without getting all shot up).
My actual experience with their combat abilities is pretty mixed, with them either
killing everything in sight, or doing almost nothing.
Baby, when I'm the voice of reason, we've got problems!

Not a bad army list. But the one thing you should never do is take off shadow field. That is one of the things that is a must in any DE army. Without it, you would get wiped out easily because your HQ was weak. So keep the shadow field and combat drugs on your HQ. You invested a lot of points into your HQ and it would be a shame to see him die on the battlefield without shadowfield.

    Might I suggest:
Dracon w punisher, t-helm, grenades, drugs, field
    16 Troops w 2 splinter cannons + Sybaryte w Agonizer
    10 Troops w 2 dark lances
    Talos

The Dracon is much better at killing regular troops now with a punisher plus he has increased leadership. The Sybarite gives you another CC unit, which I feel is lacking on your list.

Just wanted to tell you that your points are off. Squad is 100 points, like your third.
