    1500 list

    Hre is my cc army use.

    1 Hive tyrant w/lash Whip + bonesword, rending claws, toxin sacs, adrenal glands,toxic miasma,extended carapace,bio plasma
    w/ 3 tyrant guard

    1 broodlord
    w/ 6 stealers w/ feeder tendrils, extended carapace, scything talons

    3 warriors w/ rending claws, scything talon, adrenal gland (ws) toxin sacs, bio plasma Extended Carapace

    10 Hormagaunts
    10 Hormagaunts
    10 Hormagaunts
    8 stealers
    4 ripper swarms w/ leaping
    4 ripper swarms w/ leaping

    carnifex w/ crush claws. talons, bio plasma, scythe tail, tusked, toxin sacs, bonded exoskeleton, reiforced chitin, extended carapace, adrenal glands.

    Please help as it does lose but only against ig. the only game it played
    i think i might have too many hq. and the extended carapace on the tyrant might not be needed as the rest of the retinue has a 3+

    Do your warriors take a beating? Id consider swapping them for a different synapse choice. Also your tyrant, Lash whip and bone sword? I wouldnt bother personally, id rather take more ST to hit my enemy and hopfully finish him off than reduce his attacks by 1 as he'd probably be dead so his attacks would be ziltch! If your addament to take a lash whip, give it to the guards. The results stack so you could reduce the attacks by 3 each round and hit harder with your tyrant.

    I'd lose the rending claws on your Tyrant also. He's already monstrous. Give him sythes instead.

    I don't like all of the upgrades on the BL's retinue, either. How many of them actually make it to combat? I'd take it all off except for the carapace

    As for the warriors, either give them leaping, or swap them for ravener's, who do the same job but better.

    Actually, now that I see that you need their synapse, maybe you should add another squad of them. But carapace and leaping are important, so they can get up there before they're shot dead.

    i really like the list except for the Carnifex. In general, they are much better when equipped with ranged weaponry, as they only move 6" and often find themselves being shot up before getting into combat, or when they do, its about turn 5. It'll be very hard for that Fex to earn its points back.

    For 226pts, only two more points, you can buy TWO "Dakkafex's";

    Carnifex w/ Two Twin-linked Devourers, Enhanced Senses - 113 pts.

    This will allow you to shred light infantry by making use of the re-rolls to hit and to-wound. And, when you do get into combat, remember the Carnifex is still a Monstrous Creature, therefore all attacks ignore armour anyway.

    I wouldtake these two fex's with one major problem. My army is pure close combat orientated so the presence of guns kinda disrupts this. I only just let the zoanthrope in and simply just to get rid of things like leman russes before they massacure my army
