This is the list I ended up taking to our Combat Patrol tourney (AKA Patrollapalooza). It placed 4th out of 12 with 5 wins and 3 losses.
1. 3 x warriors: 2 x deathspitter + 1 venom cannon. +I, +BS, +Sv, +S, rending claws = 133 pts
2. 3 x warriors: 2 x deathspitter + 1 barbed strangler. +I, +BS, +Sv, +S, rending claws = 128 pts
3. 12 x termagant = 72 pts
4. 11 x termagant = 66 pts
= 399 points.
Pros: effective shooting with plenty of high-strength templates, although a bit erratic due to low BSs. A decent amount of anti-vehicle shooting. The warrior-termagant combo was very effective in close combat.
Cons: compared to most nid lists, slow. Compared with shooting army lists, erratic shooting and no low AP weapons.
The wins were against Spacewolf scouts, Genestealers, Black Templars x 2 different forces, and a skimmer-heavy Dark Eldar list. The losses were against a shooting Spacewolf force and twice to a Tau force with 8 fire warriors, 2 Crisis suits and 6 Stealthsuits.
All in all, it did better than I expected. One tweak I might consider for next time is swapping the warriors' +I for 3 more termagants, since the warriors shot more than they meleed, and you just can't get enough termaganty goodness.
It looks like a decent list. With the small number of points you have for gaunts I normally would advise using spine gaunts but with them you only get 4 more gaunts and the shooting is probably better. I would agree, take out the I upgrades, warriors already have high I, and take something more useful like more gaunts. If you do then I suggest maybe using spine gaunts, they will be much better in cc because of their numbers. At that amount of points I think it will start to make a difference.
Just my 2 cents.

Against forces with 4+ or worse saves I agree, the spinies are better, but in this list I have the bigger guns (including small and large blast templates...) on the warriors to deal with them as well.
Thanks for the input. :-)
3 Warriors ST, RC, EC, +init & leaping : 114 pts
8 'Stealers EC : 160 pts
25 Spineguants : 125 pts
25 guants with synapse backup is bound to be fun in a 400pt game
Sweet list, Zerling - 36 bods, 39 wounds, 11 high I renders.
The inclusion of stealers makes prioritising to shoot out the comparatively few warriors a much harder decision to make, and the chances are the food will choose not to shoot the gaunts until it's too late for them. The gaunts give you weight of numbers to back up the few remaining stealers after 1-2 turns of incoming fire, making them much more survivable in cc when they get there. Noice.
The only problem would be skimmers - Dark Eldar would enjoy tormenting this list.
