I just thought up this list just then, I'm looking to build a competitive allrounder list and this is me Second Crack at it:
 Hive Tyrant
+ twin Dev
+ twin Dev
Heavy Support 149
+ Venom Cannon
+ Barbed Strangler
My plan for this list is to have the fast moving hormies and tyrant up the middle dealing with the troop squads and providing a threat while the Genestealers take a flank each and come in later on to rip up problem parts of the forces. While the Carnifex provides general fire support from the rear.
I think thought that i may have some problems in that the enemie can choose to focus on one part of my line. which could weaken the whole force. For instance if they focused on killing a flank of 6 genestealers then they may be able to weaken my army that way. im not sure what do you guys think?

I think the list overall looks good, but I also think that the list is lacking on anti tank units, granted if you can get some genestealers to the tanks you'll be alright or if you can take out the tanks with the Sniperfex you'll be okay. I would suggest dropping the fex for two zoanthropes with warp blast and synapse creature, you dont want to lose the hormagaunts should your hive tyrant go down. With the warp blast you still have your anti tank, but now some better anti troop.
Legion Of Everblight: Abyslonia
Protectorate of Menoth: Grand Exemplar Kreoss
First glance it looks like a pretty solid list, but thinking about it a bit more there are some big problems.
Fire prisms and hammerheads are the first things that come to mind. If either one of them throw down a big template you are completely boned. They could take a huge swath out of your hormagaunts, or take out an entire unit of your Genestealers. So Eldar and Tau are going to be hard, hard games for you. Not to mention in both of those games the tank finishes the game off as a scoring unit, unchallenged.
The second big problem is that you only have one synapse unit that would be easily tied up in CC. So, this creates two problems. Some good shooting would take out both units of Hormagaunts and then charge your tyrant and you'd be in big trouble. Any calvary unit would take you down fairly easily or good tactics would if you ever misjuged a distance.
The second part of that becomes that you're very predictable. You don't have any tactical flex in the list. You can throw your genestealers down either flank and then your hormies have to stay with your Tyrant. There's not much that is going to change.
So, instead, I would suggest dropping a unit of genestealers and switch them out for 3 raveners w/ rending and scything. That gives you two more scoring units to play with and some tactical flex in your list, not to mention faster attack units.
Beyond that, I'd drop the extended carapce off of your genestealers because they'll get toasted anyways. Your opponent should be packing firepower to deal with some 4+ saves in 750, so you'd be better off using your cover save, anyways. If you drop that it opens up 24 points, giving you enough points to put initiative adrenal glands on your hormagaunts.
Using logic so you don't have to.
Looks like a nice list. although u dont seem to have much for a 750 :s
just a few suggestions. Firstly i like the genestealers and opposed to some advice to dropping their carapace, i believe that will make them useless. Its wonderful to think "ah i can keep them in cover", but the truth is at some point they will have to break cover and chances are they will end up in rapid fire range of ap 5 weapons and get creamed. Extended carapace is a must have IMO.
The hormagaunts are as good as they'll ever get. I'm not a fan in low point games.
However your hive tyrant is extremely expensive. But that may still work. What i would consider doing is dropping the wings and the str upgrade. Hell even the bs upgrade. This will give u a 91 point hive tyrant. And still a death machine. This will free up plenty of points and allow you to get a thrope. Now this may not be optimal as wings allows you to stick with your fast moving troops. But either way if your looking to save points drop the bs and str upgrade. The are purely luxuries. rerolling hits and wounds means you wont be missing out on much.
What do you guys think about removing the hormagaunts for Spinegaunts/termagaunts instead? I havn't been game to yet because i have been worried that i wouldn't be able to Tie up the Enemies firing fast enough.
