here is my 2nd 1500 list (after i tried using pariahs an gave up)
Lord - 210
- Res. Orb
8 Immortals - 224
8 flayed ones - 144
10 warriors - 180
10 warriors - 180
4 destroyers - 200
3 wraiths - 123
monolith - 235
Total - 1496
yeah main plan is to just jump around the battle shooting the life out of everyone. with the wiraths an flayed ones going after heavy weapon troops.
my 40k playing is still in its infancy, so any comments for the list or for tactis would be greatly appreciated.

You need many more warriors.
Drop the flayed ones and wraiths and get 10more.
Boost your sqaud of immortals to 10.
I would also recommend dropping the WS on the Lord if you're going to go around shooting stuff. Give him is SoL back so he can join the festivities. Now you're not in the red points-wise, just 9 unused points.
My 2 copper.

I endorse what has already been said.
Wraiths are crap unless you take a minimum of 6.
1 Unit of flayed ones is not enough so the points are better spent on more warriors.
Drop the warscythe or the VoD. The two really aren't compatible. If you deepstrike with the VoD the warscythe doesn't come into play that turn (not to mention you can't shoot anyone).
Forget the Flayed ones and Wraiths. Boost your Destroyers to 2 squads of 3 each.
New list should look something more like this
Nec Lord + Res Orb + VoD
Necrons = 37
Phase out = 9
This list is 125 points short of 1500. Most people will tell you to dump those remaining points into warriors and boost your total necrons to 44.
This is fine for a Wall of WBB army that maxes out it's phase out number, but since your army is going to be more mobile I'd suggest you put these points into Scarab Swarms (with or without Disruption Fields, your choice). It certainly will be a little risky to run with the minimum number of warriors but I find it more fun.
A tip on playing. Don't use VoD straight away. Almost invariably the enemy army splits into the Heavy Support at the back and everyone else who footslogs it up the battlefield. When they spread thin enough to leave their rear relatively undefended, then is the time to deepstrike in and take out the squad with a salvo from the gauss blasters.
After this they may split their force again. Some to keep going down the board and some to charge your VoD team. Divide and conquer tactics really become too easy with VoD.

And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
